Hello! I’ve spent the last two days scouring both this blog and the ficrec blog but I’ve had no dice. I’m looking for a 616 fic (I think) where one day Tony wakes up in love with Steve and he knows it’s different/something’s wrong with him but he doesn’t do anything about it because he’s never felt so happy in a long time.

It is not the one where Tony wakes up believing him and Steve have been dating a few weeks beforehand and thinks he’s from an alternative universe.

hi, i'm looking for a fic, it should be somewhere around 20K-70K words, where steve wakes up from the ice alone. he gets help from some locals, goes to a hospital and then I think he hijacks a boat to get to new york? it only really hits him how much time he lost there and he’s basically homeless for most of the fic. shield is trying to find him and he notices they’re trailing him etc. there's a chase scene where clint and nat are involved. he attempts to find tony a few times because he’s a stark, but they only really meet when steve decides to help in the battle of new york. then he takes steve to the tower.

there’s also a plotline where people don’t really believe steve that he’s the captain america and he starts kind of doubting if he’s not crazy or a clone or something like that because of it.

So I'm not sure if this is stony or stucky, but the story revolves around Bucky talking about how queer folx found each other in the 1940s. I distinctly remember Bucky being with a trans woman (there's a scene where she has to cut her hair short and masquerade as a 'man').

It's maybe a time travel story? Where tony goes back in time and learns all of this?

And there's talks about how the queer men would write their names in a book as a way of helping each other keep track.

Ok i am going crazy trying to find/remember this Stony fic. Tony woke up one day in a woman's body, but there was a time limit to it, and then he and Steve hooked up (possibly for the novelty, bc Tony wanted to know what it was like?) And then Tony got knocked up. And I believe it was part of a series where Tony swapped genders more than once and there may have been time travel involved later on? I swear the author's username was a variation of georgia girl or something similar but I can't find them :(

I'm looking for a fic where Tony was in a coma for a few months. When he awoke, his friends noticed that he kept looking for computer panels that were never there, or talked about owning a villa he never bought.

Turns out?

Tony's consciousness had been sent into another universe, where he was married to Steve. 616 Tony was inhabiting the body of the other-universe Tony.

None of the normal keywords are helping me find this.

What's worse is that Dr. Strange plays a large role in the fic--he's both the reason Tony was in the coma, and the one who helps him recover his memories of what happened in the other universe--but when I try & add Dr. Strange as a search term, it only adds Tony/Strange ships to the search.

Can anyone help me find this fic, or give me some recommendations on how to best use the AO3 search to find it myself?

Hello! I'm looking for a fic where I think Steve and Tony were either bonded or soulmates or something like that, but only Tony knew and hid it from Steve. The scene I remember was after a mission where Steve finds out Tony could feel all the pain he felt because of the bond, and since Steve has the serum he usually wasnt as careful if he got hurt or not, so he was upset about it and tony hiding it. It should be a fic from before 2020. Thanks for the help!

Hi! I'm looking for this fic that took place during civil war, all I could remember is that it went back and forth with it's timeline. So like, present and past that sort of thing. And the other thing I could remember is that i think it's all planned by tony and steve? Like, all the conflict and stuff to fool others (i think?), but then it ended up them being together again. hi there! looking for a fic in tony's poc where tony "died" but really just faked their death and then came back as iron woman and told everyone she was tony's cousin and no one knew the truth. and in the fic tony's talking to steve and sort of consoling him about the tony's death and feels weird about it bc she knows that she's alive but felt like she had to do this to be her true self. i think the fic had two parts and there was maybe a scene with transitioned tony playing piano. thanks!

hi!! i've been looking for a fic where steve works as a sheriff at a police station where howard is his boss i think (?) and tony keeps going to steve's office to flirt w him (he sometimes also helps steve solve cases bc he's smart but howard always tells steve to ignore him bc he's an asshole). at some point i remember tony being kidnapped and steve rescuing him while howard did nothing. i think it was a one-shot

Hi! I am looking for a fic that I read on AO3 a while ago. Basically, Steve and Tony end up somehow in a parallel universe where everything seems pretty much the same (except I think in this universe, Steve and Tony are married? Or otherwise in a relationship) except for the team seems much closer than in their universe. If I remember correctly, they live life basically as usual for a while, but they both are having a growing sense that Something Is Wrong. A moment that stands out to me is that after a mission, during debrief the parallel universe team members are like “yeah there were civilian casualties but at least the whole team is ok!!” and there’s another moment with Natasha where they’re explaining about their universe and she’s like “ok but the team is together there right? Right????” And Steve and Tony basically conclude that the thing that’s wrong in this universe is that the team members care more about each other than they do about actually protecting the world.

As I’m typing this I’m remembering more, and I think this was like. Post Civil War Tony and Steve end up back in time and in a parallel universe to 2012 or so.

Hia!! I’ve got a NSFW ask for a fic I read quite a few years ago.

I remember Steve had an unusually big dick and as a result had never had penetrative sex. I remember Tony taking it as a challenge? And working out ways/working up in size until he could take Steve. I think it was a friends with benefits to lovers situation and multi chaptered. I also remember it being reasonably popular explicit fics around the time it was written (although again, this was MANY years ago.)
