The Prillee and the Crat: a first attempt at nonsense poetry
The blothee alights
On a whitsy frerre
And moffles the growming
Of sprautan air
The pillee perks up
Its soshine nim
And lolling, it mlaps
But only catches frim
“Why mloppeth thou?”
Asks a weering crat
“‘tis but a frithing-bloth,
Even mewkers know that!”
“A flotless act,
I will addurnze,
But it brilleth swinj”
The pillee returns.
“For swinj thou wouldst caroole?”
The crat lammocks,
“When thou could be pillowing nables
Or darcing zocks?”
“What’s the point?”
Asks the pillee, with a grewning eye
And to that, the crat found
It could not reply.
