Grease Monkey’s Dilemma (Fundraiser + Stream) Tragedy has struck and my friend has been left without a car! Said friend has been a big help to me in the past and is even the one that keeps lending me his tablet so I can keep doing 2D art despite not having a (working) tablet myself. In order to help out I am taking emergency commissions to hopefully collect the funds necessary to get his car. We need to get at least $700 so he can get his car back; preferably $1000 since that’s how much he needs to pay off the entire mechanic bill but he only needs $700 and they’ll at least let him get it already. The original post was actually pretty good and talked about how reliable of commissioners the furry community were for a struggling artist.

for anyone who chose not to read the post:

artist needed money for college, people from tumblr/dA told them their prices were too expensive and that no one would commission them.

artist was desperate and logged on to their old Furaffinity account to take commissions

artist got a shitton of commissions and everyone was supportive and encouraging

people ended up tipping the artist 10-20$ per commission because they thought the artist was undercharging

tl;dr - furries supported artist and treated them better than the “pro-artist” sides of dA and tumblr.

Emergency Commissions

// Hey, Tiny’s mun here so i need to make over $50 dollars before the end of this month or my laptop will be taken away because there needs to be monthly payments on it to pay it off and i’ve applied to many places and i haven’t heard back from any of them and i won’t be able to keep this blog going if i don’t have this laptop. I won’t be able to draw or anything so i’m going to try to make the money through commissions. I don’t draw much as it is but here’s what i can offer
