Finnian Monaghan Better known as Finn he is a 22 year old Junior majoring in engineering science. Finn's secret is that he has a genetic heart condition that could kill him if not controlled properly.

Sorry, I haven’t been around much and that I never got around to writing those starters I promised people. My muse has been (excuse my French) shite. I’m thinking of getting rid of Finn and replacing him with another character and either rejigging Lark or getting rid of her. If anyone has any connections that need filling just let me know. It might give me some much needed inspiration.

“You shouldn’t. I feel that way about practically everyone. Myself included.” A grin emerged on his features as the other expressed a similar mindset. “It’d be a fucking curse to be stuck with me. Everyone thinks I talk way too damn much. We’d be in hell for like, twenty minutes and you’d be like ‘damn Flynn, leave me the fuck alone’. And I’d be like, ‘damn Finn, I just wanted to blow you. We’re stuck together for eternity and you don’t want to spend some of it having sex? Fucking weirdo.’” He let out a chuckle at his own hypothetical, eyes widening in interest as the other further entertained the idea of him having fire for hair. “Dude, yes. Mine’d be like, blue though because it’d be hotter than the generic fire. But yeah, s’mores, blunts, vague threats of violence. My hair’d be good for all of those things.” A smirk tugged at his lips as his companion shut down the idea. “You could print out a paper to hand them. Douchey as it’d look, it’d be efficient.”

“Aww, and there I thought I was special.” Finn joked grinning himself. “Oh, I’m definitely one of those people who talk too much when I’m high. I could go on for hours about anything but then I usually take a nap so you get some quiet afterwards. And I’m confusing, you’re making it sound like having sex with you roommate is a bad thing. We’ve even got a colour coding sock system for our door.” Finn replied, he had been quite pride of his sock system when he came up with the coding and it had work rather well. “Like Hades in Hercules. And yes, I’ve watched it numerous times. I love Disney films. Would you have yours pointing up like his, though, or flowing down like it is now? Damn, if you could do all that with your hair you’d be my number one person for going out with.” Finn nodded, “I’ve never really had a problem with being douchey. I just do me and if that’s douchey that’s douchey. But I am always a lazy arse. I’d rather survey myself, that way I come out looking very good.”

“Well, I mean, I also have bright orange duct tape and zebra printed duct tape but for some odd reason I just kind of figured being able to see the words are important.” Sarah looked at him, “Surprisingly? Are you rough on your books or do you just read them a lot?” 

“Honestly, I just want to use the other tapes and use them to annoy people, but yes. For my current purpose seeing the words is kind of important.” He said with a chuckle. “Probably a bit of both. I wouldn’t say I’m really rough with them. I just have no problem folding down the corner to make my page or bending the spine back because it’s easier to read using one hand.”

I’m not much into kidnapping, and I don’t like you enough to force you to spend the rest of eternity with me,” Flynn reassured, taking the lighter back and sparking it a few inches from his face. “Can you imagine me with fire for hair though? Pretty fucking sweet.” Pocketing the lighter, he glanced back up at Finn with a smirk on his lips as he defended his pick up lines. “It wouldn’t make much of a difference to me if you did use the same one on everyone. I wouldn’t know,” the actor pointed out with a quirk of his brow. “You’ll have to start asking. Make an after sex survey or something.”

“I could take offense at that, but to be honest I don’t blame you,” Finn joked in response. “I don’t think I could put up with me for a week nevermind eternity. Not sure how my roommate manages it.” He continued, flicking the ash from the end of his cigarette. “I knew a girl once who had her hair dyed all kind of different reds, oranges and what not to look like fire. That looked pretty awesome so I can only imagine real fire would look even better. And you could toast marshmallows on the go.” Finn said, drifting off slightly as he started thinking about how much he’d love a s’more right now. “It’s less fun if you use the same one each time, I like to make the effort. A sex survey sounds like it could be a good idea but it would require way too much effort and it could eat away at my smoke break before round two time.”

she giggled when he spoke about the cop, “maybe he will take you on a date once you get out of jail. run faster,” she pulled on his hand as she lead them the way there. once they were both on the same side of the fence, elle turned to face finn, pushing his hair from her forehead before pulling her own hair up into a ponytail. “okay then axel rose,” she teased, letting another small laugh slip out before pulling him around the corner and, thinking they were in the clear, she wasn’t even thinking about the possibility of someone catching them at that point. that was proved wrong as she almost ran into a police officer that was on foot and she let out a mixture of a gasp and a whimper, trying to turn and run but the officer had already grabbed finn’s hand and she wasn’t going to just leave him there. “let him go,” she spoke forcefully. her whole childlike mannerisms had switched to anger. “it was a joke, sir,” she stated, words coming out in a perfect american accent instead of her natural russian one. the cop just looked at them, already cuffing finn and just looking rather annoyed with the pair. elle stepped in between the two of them. “he didn’t do anything wrong. this was my fault. please,” she stepped towards him and let one hand rest on the officer’s chest while the other moved to slip the key ring off of his belt quietly and slip it into her pocket.

“It’s not a date I was after,” Finn replied with a cheeky smirk as he wiped the sweat from his brow. It had been a while since he had to run like that. Hidden in the shadows Finn relaxed, believing them both to be safe. “Oh please, I’m much better looking that Axel Rose,” Finn joked back, following Elle round the corner. The smile was soon wiped from his face when they round the corner and bumped into a cop. Before Finn could even think about running the officer had hold of him and was reading him his rights. He had thought Elle must have managed to get away before hearing her voice. “Don’t worry about it, Belle.” Finn said, using the wrong name on purpose. “Run,” He mouthed to her after, doubting she actually would. If the roles were reversed he wouldn’t. Partners in crime escaped together and went down together - at least that had always been Finn’s rule. As he was cuffed Finn was already trying to think of ways of getting out of these. He had picked the lock of handcuffs before but he didn’t have anything on him that would work in this case. “She didn’t have anything to do with it,” Finn said to the officer, willing to take all the blame. But at this point, it didn’t seem to matter. With Finn cuffed he had turned his attention to Elle. He watched with amusement as she spotted Elle slyly take the officer’s key and just in time as the police car had just pulled up.

“Yeah, actually. I think I do. Give me a moment, yeah?” Sarah went from the door she had just answered to her desk. Rummaging through it she eventually produced a roll of the clear, wide tape. “This’ll do.” 

Finn waited patiently at the door as he watched the blonde search through her desk and find the tape. “Surprisingly enough I’ve never taped a book back together but I’d say that was the best kind of tape for the job! Someone else offered me stripped pink and blue tape.They obviously thought I didn’t want to be able to read the words.” He joked.

I’ve had a busy day and it’s almost twelve so I’m going to do my replies tomorrow. But I’m still going to be around for a while, and I know we have some new people/characters, so if you want to plot like this and I shall message you.

With finals coming up and the aftermath of the recent lockdown, the general atmosphere of Arcadia was heavy with negative energy. Flynn, being the kind of person with a low tolerance for grave matters, found himself frequenting the student bar most afternoons after class. He needed to unwind, and he generally found that areas of opportunity were more exciting than drinking in his room alone like a sad alcoholic. His beer was pressed against his lips as he took a sip. As Finn delivered the pickup line, the actor choked on his amusement. “Just call me Hades,” he quipped, setting down his drink and shuffling his hand in his jeans pocket. Retrieving the lighter, he held it out in offering to the other. “That line gotten you laid yet?”

“I might just do that, Hades suits you. As long as that doesn’t make me Persephone,” Fin joked taking the ligher from the brunette and lighting his cigerette before handing it back. “Thanks,” Finn said, taking a long drag before talking again. “You make it sound like I use that on everyone. My lines many be cheesy, but I have enough class to use different ones on different people. And most the time they are rather successful, but that could be down to my charms or my good looks rather than my lines.” Finn replied semi seriously.

Maxwell looked up from his small pile of books when he heard a voice. “Hm? Oh no, go ahead. This was left by the pervious person,” he said, nodding briefly to the book. “I have read it, though. Very fascinating.” 

“You have? I’ve been meaning to read for a while but haven’t come across it any secondhand book or charity shops.” Finn said picking up the book from the table. “Did you like it? I’ve read fascinating books before and hated it.”

Elle couldn’t stop laughed as she ran next to Finn, doing her best to keep up with him. She stopped when he did, glancing around the corner before ducking beside him. “Don’t say that yet, Finny,” she smiled, still not having a care in the world even though the sirens were getting close. She reached out for Finn’s hand and pulled him from where he was crouched down. “Maybe the siren’s just been he is really horny,” she giggled as she continued to run with his hand in hers. “Help me,” she stated, reaching up for the top of the fence before gesturing for him to put his hand out so that she could step up and get to him to push her over. Once she was over the fence, she grabbed a bobby pin from her hair that hand been holding part of her ponytail up and used it to pick the lock to the gate so that he could slip through and join her on the other side of the alley. “Isn’t this great?” she smiled, glancing over at him as she tried to catch her breath, high from the adrenaline rush and she felt so alive.

With a roll of his eyes and grinning like a mad idiot Finn let Elle help pull him up and began running once more. “If he really is that horny then I don’t I want to run. He’s hot for a cop.” Finn joked. He immediately bent down to give Elle a leg up before leaning against the fence to catch his breath. This probably wasn’t the kind of physical exertion his doctors meant when they said he should avoid competitive sports but it would still mostly likely be frowned upon. He guessed Elle had a plan but if not it wouldn’t have been the first fence he’d climbed. Finn didn’t have to wait long and he soon slipped through to the other side. “Best fun I’ve had in ages that didn’t include drugs, alcohol or sex,” Finn whispered back, still grinning.

hazel, too, stood up straight. “don’t worry, i’d follow you and help build up your professor’s trust.” she smiled, rubbing her forehead. “you would be guessing correctly. i’m hazel. finn? lovely name. it’s nice to meet you, finn.” 

“There’s no point building up the trust, it wouldn’t be there for long. I think the last time I was late for one of his classes I said I dropped my bag of skittles which scattered everywhere causing an old lady to fall. I called the ambulance for her and went with her to the hospital. Her family wanted to give me a cash reward for helping her. And so I went back to their house where they locked me up in the basement because they knew it was my skittles she’d slipped on. And the reason I was late was because I’d only just escaped.” Finn said with a small chuckle. “Thanks, the only comment I usually get on my name is ‘ha, that’s part of a fish.’”

Finn wasn’t the kind of guy you expected to find in the library and truth be told he didn’t often come here. Finn chose to buy his books from charity shops because then it didn’t matter if he damaged them. Still, he liked to browse the library’s selection - he just made he only read those books in his dorm. He came across one lying on the table that he’d been wanted to read for a while. “This isn’t yours is it?” Finn asked the person seated at the table.

Finn had been hanging around with friends of his when then started talking about some guy called Kaito. Finn had never heard of him but it seemed like he’d gotten a bit of his name for himself for being such a bad roommate. Apparently, he’d driven his last roommate out and since then he didn’t let anyone in his room. Finn didn’t see what the big deal was, and when he voiced his opinion his friends were quick to dare him to break into this guys rooms. Fast forward by about 15 minutes Finn found himself standing in Kaito’s room. He hoped it was his room anyway, his friends could have easily given him the wrong dorm number. Not just content on entering the room Finn decided to take the dare even further, lighting up a cigarette Finn began moving everything on his desk over 1 cm. He also left an unwrapped by unused condom hanging off the side of his bin, dipped his toothbrush in his shampoo and drew a little shark’s fin on random pages on every notebooks he could find. Finn was in the middle of drawing one of these fins when he heard someone on the other side of the door, “Shit.”

“Shit,” Finn cursed as he heard the sound of sirens behind him as the cop car. He turned to the blonde standing next to him before slouching to the ground - out of breath from all the running, “Nowhere else to run now, they’ve got us.” Finn said, glancing around just in case there were any escape routes. In hindsight sticking over 100 ‘honk if you're horny’ car stickers on a police car wasn’t the best idea but looking at the cop car now, still covered in them, Finn couldn’t regret their actions.

Finn loved reading but unlike some other book lovers, he didn’t take the greatest care of the books he read. Most the books he read were small enough to fit in his back pocket and were paperback so he could bend the spine back to keep his spot. Finn was reading one of his favourites when the spine snapped. “Damnit.” He muttered, needed some sellotape and not having any. Finn proceeded to knock on other dorm doors to ask for sellotape. “Don’t suppose you have any tape I can have?” He asked the blonde who opened the door, holding up his book.
