Reasons why I think we’re going to play as Zelda in BoTW 2

1) That hand holding down Ganondorf’s corpse is looking really suspicious. That fishy thing goes into Link’s hand and is most likely going to affect him negatively in one way or another, potentially capturing him. 

2) I mean, that suspicious looking hand is latched on to the poor bastard. In video games, the captured person is always gonna be dragged away from the protagonist. 

3) Zelda and Link were separated. That’s pretty suspicious, right? Link goes up while Zelda falls down. Up is closer to the Ganondorf corpse too. The ground splitting apart between them can be like their worlds being torn apart. They are being separated. 

4) Uh oh, what’s that on the ground? Light? From the torch. Link had the torch, meaning he dropped it. He would have probably dropped it after getting snatched by the green hand.

5) Aaaand she picked it up. It could be like she’s now picking up the torch of being the protagonist to save Link…

6) Right before the text, the green light fades away. Who’s got that suspicious green stuff in them? 

Link does. So something has happened to Link involving that green light. 

7) Overall, Zelda seemed to be the main focus of the trailer. She seemed to be in it a bit more than Link did, and nothing happened to her besides the Ganondorf looking at her. Link, however, had the green light sucked into his hand, and he appears to be pulled away from Zelda, too. Something veeeeery suspicious is going on with Link. 

I mean, look at Link’s hand. He’s being pulled up by something while Zelda is reaching out for him.

Ok so I maybe read into that a bit too much, but I reckon they’re changing it up at Nintendo HQ and giving Zelda the chance to rescue Link.
