Fiona and her dog passed the CGC test—Canine Good Citizen!

Thank you Dogtown for the education!

Dominique is a 21 year-old former foster child who has had a lot of challenges in the past few years. She is a mother of two and was able to obtain her driver's license and get a job to hold down her own apartment until a stroke of bad luck hit and she lost their apartment.

Recently, her car fuel pump went and needs replacement. She is now living in a shelter with her two children and trying to get back up on her feet. Dominique is an incredible young woman and is working with Life After Release to restore her life.

Dominique is currently taking GED courses and caring for her children. She has really turned her life around and just needs a little support to get through this time. Stable housing is a lifeline for individual and a necessity.

Dominique and her children need access to safe housing and a working vehicle so that she can continue to go to school and work. Any support you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Please follow her instructions and contact Chairman Clippenger (301) 858-3488 about HB0647 and Chairman Smith (301) 858-3634 about SB0469 and demand that they advance this crucial legislation. Ensuring that the public has audio-visual virtual access to proceedings will provide greater transparency and accountability, provide accessibility for loved ones, foster civic engagement and provide more equitable public participation.

The clock is ticking to get this legislation passed.
