Fiona stared at the fake babies in the carriers that they’d been given choices from, her eyebrows furrowed in thought. “So, boy or girl?” She asked Daniel, looking over at him. “And what are we naming this thing?”

“Yeah, well Luke also didn’t hurt you,” Fiona gave the girl a pointed look, raising her brows. “Look Mads, I’m all about your happiness, but Jamie isn’t good for you. We both know that.”

Mia jumped when she heard a bang near by and, being the ever curious one, she decided to investigate. It didn’t take long to figure out that the noise had come from Fiona and it was due to the printer being down again. Which did not bode well for Mia. She had an essay due and was relying on printing it during her free period. She’d have to go and search for another one. “Damn it. Why the hell can’t this school afford a working printer? Or someone who can fix it for more than a day?”
Fiona raised her brows, placing her hands on her hips. “They really need to buy some new shit around here, because this is getting old.” She gave a backwards glance at the broken machine, still blinking its pestering red light at her. She looked back at Mia, shaking her head. “You don’t think there’s another one we can use around here, do you? This essay’s due in two periods and I’m screwed if it’s not in.”

“Again?” the girl laughed. It seemed pathetic to her that the machine was always broken. “Why don’t they just get rid of it? It’s always broken, it makes no sense”
“They really need to get a new one,” Fiona replied, shaking her head. “I swear, this school has no idea how to run efficiently half the time.”

Joey sighed as he looked at the machine, tilting his head to the side. ”Does this give me an excuse not to hand in this dumb book report?”
“Maybe,” Fiona told him with a slight shrug. “I’m hoping it gets us all out of our assignments, then maybe they’ll learn to get some technology that actually works around here.”

Lizzy let out a sigh when she heard about the machine not working, “Er.. thanks for the warning” she said while giving her a small smile, even if she was worried about what to do now
“Yeah, no problem,” Fiona replied with a deep sigh. She turned around to give the cursed machine another evil glare. Looking back at Liz, she gave a small smile. “There might be another one in the faculty lounge if they’ll let us use it.”

“You’re just too kind to it,” Jamie stopped to give her advice as he was walking by, blinking innocently as if the only thing he was after was giving her a hand of help, pure intentions, not just taunting a girl who he knew didn’t like him at all for justified reasons. “Get to it again and pretend it’s me when you hit it. You’ll see it work perfectly in no time.” Of course, he was merely joking, but he didn’t know just how right he was after all.
Fiona crossed her arms, looking the boy straight in the eye. “If I pretended it was you when I hit it, it definitely wouldn’t be working anymore.” She narrowed her eyes at him, giving him a tight, sarcastic smile. “If you’ve got any better ideas, please keep them to yourself.”
