Disney World Hiatus Notice !!!

Just to give everyone a heads up, this blog will be put into a hiatus until September 20th. More specifically, the evening. Starting Saturday the 12th, we will be leaving for Florida, to be completely Disney bound! Tomorrow, however, I work all day. So I won’t have much time for any replies or starters of the such. My shift tomorrow is from 6am - 7pm, so most of my time is tied. Plus when I get home I have to finish up packing for Disney. This hiatus applies to all of my blogs, naturally. But I put down for work from 12 - 22nd like the horrible sneaky person I am, to give myself an additional two days after we get back from vacation. So I’ll be back online by then!

Wolfe had places to be, scores to settle, and maneuvers to practice. A practical day for him, to say the least. He was on his way towards the training ground within camp, the Hero having a firm grasp on his silver sword as he did.

That is, until he felt his shield arm collide with an opposite force. ‘What the?’ He thought to himself, as he turned to see only potatoes spread about and a little girl trying to reclaim the potatoes. His eyes then fell and he sighed, as he recognized this duty, from when he was a mere new recruit: get the potatoes to the cooks for the evening.

“I’m fine.” He replied, realizing his mistake. Wolfe quickly scurried over to assist the girl with her bag. “Sorry about that.” He began, picking one up after another for her. “Carrying this wasn’t my favorite thing to do, either.”

“ Oh, you don’t have to help me with them. I don’t want to trouble you. ”

She gave a small smile, gathering whatever potatoes she could hold in her hands and placing them in the bag, before going back to retrieve more. She shook her head as his apology, moving the bag to sit up once they finished up picking all of them up. After carefully making sure the bag would sit upright on its own, she turned her attention to the stranger. She didn’t mind the new recruit duties, really. Anything that would help others out. A small smile played on her lips in response, hands wiping and clapping together to get the dirt off.

“ Thank you, but you don’t have to apologize. It was my fault. But I don’t mind it, it’s just a bag of potatoes. It just means dinner will be delicious. ”

Eyes look down once more at her stance, before giving a small nod. She supposed truth rang in his words, giving a small sigh. However, she was grateful for the lesson. She joined the Shepards to help people out, and she could use whatever pointers she needed in order to get stronger and viable. Her body moved slightly, adjusting herself the way that he coached her to do, holding her blade up once more. Her arms were held strong, legs firm to as to prevent being knocked back easily. She leaned a tad more to her right foot, the dominant one she was told to do. She didn’t want her size to be looked over, or to be the reason she couldn’t fight.

“ How is this? Is it better? ”

Her response appeared to be a bit too late, for the other was already bending down to pick up the books from the ground. She kindly took the books from his hands, standing up once more, balancing the few books on her forearms.

“ Oh, I’m fine. There’s very little that can hurt me. But I do feel awful, for I wasn’t paying much attention. ”

This was said with a confident smile, to ensure that she was just fine.

Her response was quick, giving a shake of her head. However, she was a tad confused as to why she gave off such a strong aura to the other. The teenager held up a stack of papers that she held in her arms, to show the other that she wasn’t lying. Though, it was hard to kind of miss the pretty tall stack in her hands. Regardless, she set them down on a nearby desk, for her arms had begun to hurt from the weight.

The melodious song was sung from her lips as she carried a bag of food for the cooks, a task that was presented to her for this evening. It usually was bestowed upon each circulating trainee, and tonight it was Aya’s turn. Her bag of potatoes held in her arms, she continued to sing the song that had been stuck in her head all day. Not paying much attention as she should, her shoulders bumped into another’s, knocking the bag out of her arms, spilling potatoes everywhere.

“ Oh! I’m so sorry! Are you alright? ”

She apologized, feeling a tad embarrassed that she bumped into a complete stranger, all because she wasn’t paying attention. Her face flushed red, she took a small bow in apology.
