Waterways
Cheer up fellow! We had traveled at length and crossed the waters there, Let me just bring those memories back. When I took for a ride in the waterways, cruising silently at sunset, when the sound of winds and the birds made a nature’s symphony, it left me speechless, and to mindfully relax and unwind.

Chillion Arms
A host of medieval weapons are showcased in the Chillion Castle in Geneva, Some are pretty cold-blooded looking and other seemed less severe in its look. Swords, gladius, polearm, scythes, war axes, various spears and firearms were among them. They are kept on show in a dimly lit dark chamber, with some soldier models. Wonder how many of human souls would have wounded with these kinds of ancient…

The Great Rift Valley
The Great Rift Valley
We rode and rode until midday along the Equator roads. I was in a bit of excitement as we were fast approaching the East African Rift in Kenya. It is a continuous geographic trench created by the action of a geologic rift or fault. This was once called The Great Rift Valley which was considered approx 9600 kms in length, from Mozambique in south to the Red Sea in the north, cutting the larger…

Drops of Light
I got a basket with some fruits which I used with light and shutter when there was water droplets over the lemon leaves and tomato and the mangetouts. Making up some shots from that session here:

Trees of Mara
Trees of Masai Mara forests are different. They are not many but they are scattered and sparse among its bushes and grasslands. Dotted with the shy Wildebeests of the Masai Mara, the trees make a great diverse beauty on Earth. Those trees give decent shade, but they can also be homes of vulture families or else the very resting places of large leopards roaming there…

Couch
Couches… A deep look at them will ease your weariness, especially when they are laid in ambient lighted corners. I got some such couches and it was well set for some photos. I did take monochrome version of the same shots and they are posted in the bottom. For those who care about colors it’s the the first two of the photos :-)

A Hazy Evening
Though we normally expect hot days and humid evenings in the Middle East, rarely we get it hazy in the evenings like this pic here. It gives me a feeling of looking at a medieval market busy and bustling with shoppers and traders along a canal – as in a dream!

Lowlands
The stunning panoramic views filled with wide expanses of mountainscapes under clear clouds and skies are a visual feast if you had undertaken a journey from Leh Ladakh to Nubra Valley. There you see some paths with snow, some with waters, occasional mountain-villages and also green valleys with horses or donkeys grazing in these lowlands…

4 Birds
Though they are all birds, they are so diverse in their kinds. Here are 4 birds, all differing in their “looks” and “expressions”! Take a look ~

Isolated
By sunset the trees and the birds rested, the waters were undisturbed and then it was an environment of stillness… While the restlessness of the day is over and we too longed to take a break from hours of travel, we got this time, isolated with this small slice of abundant nature, and we settled there for the night.

Ferris Wheel
The last time I saw a ferris wheel, I pondered over the changes it went through over the ages. This time it made a spectacular display of graphic and images with light effects scrolling through each of its radius lines, running from its center to every passenger cabin. See the difference in them in both Black&White and color.

Mammoths of Samburu
Those are part of the largest terrestrial animal living on earth today. They walk and walk… in herds of family societies, some young males pick up fights to overthrow his brother, a natural habit. These 5-6 ton mammoths really make a wild world. Apart from that there is something with this species that sets them apart. They can pick up ground waves – a secret world of elephant communication. Also…
