How much Chozo DNA do you need to grow wings?
Absolute Smash Bros?
...now you're speaking my language.

Absolute Metroid: Ridley didn't simply murder Samus' family. He took her for his own, raised her as a "daughter". His enslaved Chozo servant Old Bird used his genetic manipulation to keep her alive and make her stronger so she could survive among the Space Pirates. Samus hates Ridley, even as she develops a dependency on him as his amusement and favor is the only thing keeping the other pirates from killing her. And in turn, Ridley cares for Samus in his own twisted way. He isn't capable of real affection, but he sees her as... something different. soemthing he looks at and doesn't immediately want to destroy.
Samus grows up fast, grows up brutal, and grows up hard among the Pirates. She learns to kill before she learns to do most anything else. And it's only when Old Bird finally dies,. leaving her a Chozo armor he made for her, that she manages to escape, a poorly socialized and brutal killer, who's quickly headhunted by the Federation, who have been becoming more and more totalitarian in their never-ending war against the pirates. Samus is a killer, who hates and loves Ridley as she hates and loves herself. But... maybe she can rediscover her humanity now that she's free again.

Absolute Legend of Zelda: The world is tearing itself apart. Hyule is a crumbling empire, its nobles consumed in ever-twisting dances of politics and betrayal in a bid to gain more fleeting power. The King, after the death of his daughter, took brutal control back in the form of a devastating massacre from the nobility in the name of making his granddaughter, Zelda, safe. Unto this: Link, a semi-savage child raised by the wise beasts of Deku Forest for the purpose of reminding humanity that there are powers greater than them. Link, little more than a silent beast himself, quickly becomes a folk hero and an outlaw for his slaying of the corrupt and cruel people in power that he comes across. He and his growing bad of fellows are hunted by Princess Zelda, who seeks to redeem Hyrule and her family's legacy.
Meanwhile, in the Gerudo Desert, a warlord is gaining power. His name is Ganondorf, and one by one the tribes of the desert fall to him, for Ganondorf is the master of powers great and terrible. Monsters of myth and legend bend to his whim. Magiks yet darker twist the flesh and minds of his enemies. But Ganondorf himself is subject to horror. And ancient evil dwells within him, one that seeks to consume him even as he tries desperately to retain his humanity.
And destiny has placed these three on a collision course as the shadows ever lengthen.

Absolute Super Mario: At their birth, Mario and Luigi were separated. Mario was given to the Yoshi tribe, a mighty and physically powerful race of dinosaurs, and one of the last free races in the realm, their great strength the only thing that protects them from being overtaken by the forces of the Oni Empire, ruled by the Dread Emperor Bowser and his many acolytes and lackeys. From the Yoshis, Mario learns great strength and power, and after a battle that leaves their land devastated and their numbers all but slaughtered, MArio leads his saurian kin to the Mushroom Kingdom, one of the only places that have yet to be conquered by the dread emperor.
Luigi, meanwhile, was raised among the dead. A secret pet project of the Dark Sorcerer Kamek, who bends the dead to his will. The ghosts of the departed raised Luigi, training him in their arts, and secretly instilling a hatred of Bowser and his people into him. When the time was right, Luigi killed Kamek, rendering his soul to jedgement at the hands of the spirits he enslaved, and fled the Oni Empire, fleeing to the Mushroom Kingdom, ruled by Princess Peach, aged before her time by the strain of the magic she uses to protect her kingdom that literlaly saps the life out of her.
And after so long apart, the Mario Brothers unite at last.
You people can’t tell me Metroid isn’t queer when Samus was canonically raised by two old Chozo men.
