you see, dominique weasley manages to retain good relationships ( mostly with cousins ) within own family, though it’s quite difficult, them being different personalities and in different houses. it seems like it’s a weasley trait, to be put by the sorting hat in gryffindor and dominique, well, –it took some time for her to be sorted into slytherin– but nonethless she had been, therefore starting a new phase in life slightly detached from other cousins. not all, of course…five years passed by, an evening before quidditch match, halls full of students, you could notice how they are betting who’s going to win…gryffindor or slytherin. and dominique couldn’t care less, nose buried deep in The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 5 by Miranda Goshawk, complaining to whoever sat next to her.
❛ they won’t just shut up, will they? it’s annoying, but slytherin’s going to win for sure. i’m that CONFIDENT. ❛
a smile forms itself on her lips at the sight of the familiar blonde. normally, she’d be upset if it were anyone else breaking her out of her reverie, however, it wasn’t often that she had the time to spare for friends, let alone family. it was one of her down moments, which were rare. as a result, she treasured them above all else. between quidditch matches, practices, the odd clubs, studying and trying to maintain some semblance of a social life, her days were jam packed. she’d have to speak to her mother about this. there’d had to be some way to do it all, all the while keeping your sanity. her brow raised as she observed the students, the halls thronged with a mixture of excitement and anticipation.
❛ i don’t know. i think gryffindor has a fighting chance. what makes you so CERTAIN, anyway, vic ?? ❛
