ooc: We all assume the necklace Rangiku wears daily is a gift from Gin, right? I do too. So, I’ll choose to believe it’s him for now. It’s  a long necklace that only had one circle in the middle, close to her heart, a strange design, really. Then, I remembered, Ichimaru’s name meant one of two things, one meaning all-rounded (which also fits him seeing as he scores 80 for everything on his captains stat. chart) and the other meaning, literally, one circle, literally the design on her necklace. 

Either that’s Kubo’s hidden meaning or I’m overthinking. But, I’d like to believe Rangiku-san’s necklace is from Gin and/or symbolizes how Gin is close to her forever and that it indeed have that one circle meaning. ^_^

Guys... this is ages old but let me comment since I am still thinking about that necklace after finishing the Manga this year (yes, better late than never right? and just in time for Cour 4 TYBW).

I too have been thinking that Rangiku's necklace could have been a gift from Gin, BUT what pretty much destroys that theory (and I dunno why everyone seems to completely cut that out), is, that Rangiku was thinking after Gin's death that she has nothing to remember him by.

So IF that had been a gift from Gin at some point... why doesn't it count as something to remember him by? That doesn't make any sense. 🤔 I fairly believe it was not a gift from him, yet seems to be more than just a fashion piece. It seems connected but when it wasn't a gift (since "nothing to remember you by").. then?? Someone enlighten me, I need answeres. I'm finishing my 18 years old fanfiction these days LOL 😂
