Hi, this is Firefly’s Locket, and you’ve found my Simblr! I’ve been playing The Sims since 2001, and my favorite game in the series is The Sims 2.
I enjoy playing with a variety of sims, both premade and original. I like making my The Timeline characters as sims and seeing what they get up to in-game. I wrote commentary for my Sparks Legacy for 7 years, and I am finally bringing it back.
I play mostly Wants-based, with a loose level of rotational play (for my current favorites 😆), but I don’t adhere to any system or rule set exactly. I just like going with the flow and seeing what adventures my pixel people take me on.
I am WCIF friendly! However, I have CC from 20 years of playing the game, so I might not always know/remember what something is or where to find it. I will try my best! ❤️

My neighborhoods are not connected, but intended to be AUs of each other. 😅 Someday I will play a real Uberhood!
So, before I go through my entire CC folder to rename stuff, is there really a difference between how the game processes - and _
Because I mostly used the dash (-) when removing spaces and other "odd" characters in the past, and now I'm seeing that - is bad and _ is good in terms of speeding up the loading times? Is there a definitive list for renaming files before I go through everything? 😅

It's been a long time coming, but I have finally finished this set of summer dresses. I still don't know why I never finished this set before. All meshes were made in 2013 and the AF recolors in 2016. Back then I made a post about them and said that I hoped it would not take 2,5 more years to finsish the set. Well, we know how that worked out now :P
But the more important stuff: I shoe-swapped and recolored this set of dresses by Skellington7d. The CF and TF version have Amarylls flats (because I added flats to every mesh I could find back in 2013) and the AF version has Amarylls flats or Bunheads peeptoes. I have recolored the dress with flowery patterns (and a few plumbobs). I hope you like them and please let me know if something is wrong, because I am a bit rusty when it comes to making cc.

You can choose between standalone AF and TF version or TF Repod version for which you need AF packages 🙂.
I had been noticing that while I had lots of great options for outerwear separates tops, I was lacking enough options for bottoms with footwear that was appropriate for colder or wetter weather!
I hunted around and found a few things to download, but thought I’d add some new options as well.
There are two meshes and boot styles here. Both are using @mdpthatsme‘s EF28 Jeans Skin Tight as the base (these are new meshes though so you don’t require her meshes for these to work).
The first has some cute little ankle rain boots I converted from TS4 (EP11 Boots Ankle). There are 6 denim swatches, each with a different colour boot.
Then there’s ones with @marja87‘s conversion of Madlen’s Paris boot. I did 5 swatches of denim, and each has a version with a black boot and a brown boot (I added the brown swatch myself from Madlen’s originals as Marja only converted the black). So 10 of these in total. If you only want black boots, download the odd numbered recolours and if you only want brown download the even ones.
For AF only, morphs included, binned for everyday and outerwear. I will probably do TF and EF in future but if you want to beat me to it be my guest just tag me so I know!
