_H I A T US N O T I C E

  [Hello friends, I have returned to dish out a week update: Firstly, I’d like to thank everyone who’s stayed following me while I’ve been away, I really appreciate it <3, secondly, I will be on HIATUS until at least the beginning of February (or possibly sooner, because I really miss all of you), this is mostly due to personal reasons, my grandma is still deteriorating, so naturally I’m really worried and while I did get a French extension, it’s due in next week and I’m not done learning. I’ve also got a lot of revising to do if I want to get an A* in Maths and Chemistry both of which I am taking a year early. My ticking and hair pulling has also gotten a lot worse, which is something I’m really trying to sort.        On a better note, I got my results for my English Monologue Coursework and I got an A*, only dropping one mark because of a bit of bad spelling on a couple of words, which I am really happy with.       Even better,  I got a B on my Art Project, which I am thrilled with because Art isn’t academic so it’s not something I’m always getting high marks in.        Anyway, I will be posting a reply in the Companion Verse, purely because that does depend on me replying and it’s not fair to the other peeps if I’m the one holding back.        I’ll catch ya’ll on the flip side (or you could follow my personal aye aye because I use that on my ipod and am constantly on).     Be off hiatus soon, though Loki and Pansy live in Semi-hiatus anyway tbh.           Love to you all,                              Megg & Mels & Pansy & Loki.]

Tony paused at the response given to him, didn’t respond straight away. He blinked at Loki for a moment, bottom lip rolling into his mouth. “There’s a difference between you and me when we say that though,” He finally responded after allowing the silence to thicken up between it. “I can justify it, you can’t.”

   [The smile upon her lips doesn't falter, not even slightly, at his accusing words. Why should it? As far as she was concerned, she'd done no worse than anyone else of Asgard had; genuinely didn't believe that she had done anything of fault.]  ❝And what makes you think I feel the need to justify my actions to one such as you, Stark?❞ [Was her cold answer to that, yet the smile was still in place, an odd mix of two contrasting persona in one.]

He was also perfectly willing to talk, about some things. Not everything would get an answer of course— at least not a direct one. ⊱

    [Irritation writes itself across pale lips, yet years of practised decorum leave them only pursed slightly as Loki parts them to speak again. Whom exactly did this man think he was to talk to her in such a way? She was the Queen of Asgard, Protector of the Nine Realms, and a sorceress besides. How dare he?] 

      ❝I should have thought my questions would have been obvious, though I do believed I mentioned asking how one such as you evaded my guards and found themselves in my chambers---perhaps you could answer that.❞

   [ She doesn't concede that point with an answer, instead continuing to twirl the green magic around her pale fingers. Loki stood up properly then, crossing the room in a matter of two strides until she was directly in front of him, quirking her eyebrow up at him. ] 

        ❝-—-I want answers. You can't just burst in here, maybe I should put you in the dungeons---and believe me they're not pleasant---until you decide to start talking, hm?❞

   ❝——Well, I’m not going anywhere. At least for a couple of minutes.❞        ⊰ No, he didn’t really feel like wandering back out into that corridor when there were a few rather hefty looking guards trying to hunt him down. Don’t get him wrong, he’d got some talent and can hold his own in a fight, but he’d rather not get into one, because he only played on the defensive. ⊱

   ❝And who in the Nine realms claimed I'm going to let you go?---It's not many who can burst in here when I do not wish it.❞

      [ She asked, standing slowly from her throne; using her sceptre, that she'd borrowed back from the vaults the moment she'd disposed of her father. Loki twirled her finger through the air, green tentacles of magic flitting around her finger. It wasn't a threat. Not yet anyway. ]

    “Excuse me.” There’s not an ounce of apology in his tone, but he’ll offer such words anyway. Manners. Alice would be proud.

     ”Such a thing as a lock too, but what can y’ do?”

   [ The queen raised one brow, eyeing the stranger up and down. She was impressed---if only slightly---not many could invade her chambers when she did not wish it. ]

    ❝Kindly clarify that you did in fact, break the lock to walk into my chambers?❞

        [ The queen commented, head tilted slightly to the side as she assessed the stranger whom had entered her chambers without a servant to accompany him. She drummed her fingers against the arm of her chair, one brow arched skyward. ]

   ❝Would you believe there is such a thing as knocking?❞ [ Loki questioned, twisting her body in the chair to face the new comer, her bottom lip pulled up in a slight smirk. ]

Tony paused at that, eyes narrowing at the woman. His bottom lip rolled into his mouth for a moment, the muscle in his jaw twitching for a mere moment before he allowed himself to answer. “The ones that needed to be killed.” He responded, voice hard.

  [ Ah, success. These mortal's strings were simply too easy to pull. Loki's faint glimmer turned into a full blown smirk as she regarded him through her dark lashes. ] ❝I could argue the exact same thing, Mr Stark.❞ [ She hummed, eyebrow quirking upwards slightly. ]
