So if you’re interested in picking the game up you should know that the story is LONG. Part 1 is extremely long but as you get more and more closer to part 1.5 you’ll start seeing hints of small things that happen in Star Rail. Part 2 is primarily where all of it is at. Connections to Aeons, paths, straight up Sparkle and a few other things.

As a new player as of now you will have a much easier time getting into the game. It’s easier to get signature weapons and stigmata’s. Especially the stigmata’s as every part 2 unit has theirs craftable. The gameplay for battles is also much easier to deal with and you don’t have to deal with a lot of jank.

Finally there are all the extra little things like abyss, memorial arena, the four open worlds and the Elysian Realm. Everything except for the Elysian Realm isn’t really necessary if you’re not interested in the competitive side of the game.
