After his landing, Jacob had begun exploring his surroundings. He was about five foot eight inches, but he seemed taller due to his boots. He hadnât darkened his visor yet so anyone looking could see his bright green-brown eyes.
Once he was done scanning the area, he activated his visor and reduced his magnum and set out on this unexpected adventure. After a while it was dark and he heard some rustling coming from a bush. He aimed his pistol over to the area and spoke.
âCome out.â

Maria had been out scouting for signs of the group she was following a bounty on. Her long brown hair was pulled back into a ponytail and her twin swords crossed her back. The hunterâs throwing knives were within easy reach of her finger tips. The sound of a ship landing had drawn her attention but the man who got out was not one of the group she was following.
His demand for her to reveal herself from her spot in the brush nearly made her laugh. The poor guy had no idea who she was or how dangerous she could be. Hunters could bring a knife to a gunfight and still come out on top. For the moment she would play along but not until she had moved a few feet from where he had the gun aimed. Her footsteps were silent as she moved and eventually revealed herself.
âDonât bother with the gun. I could throw I knife faster than you would be able to aim and pull the trigger. I have no reason to do so though.â
The voice was obviously female and he kept a steady gaze. He lowered his pistol, attaching it to his thigh and placed the opposite hand on his hip. âWell if thatâs the case then Iâm not even going to try engaging.â He replied. He wasnât a fool though, in case this person was just bluffing he would be able to defend himself fine.
He began to walk down the path, closer to the new person. His visor made the landscape a tad bit brighter so he could see fine. He wasnât carrying that much firepower wise, he only carried his pistol, two knives located on his chest and ankle, and three grenades. âIâm fireteam leader Jacob.â He added, letting this person in a friendly way now.
Down the center of his helmet, at the top of his visor, a bright yellow stripe went down his helmet. This was accompanied by a bright yellow chestplate with an emblem reading âFireteam Sunrayâ
