imagine growing up not knowing anything about lgbt stuff only that it was wrong or sinful or something to make fun of that it was freakish or weird like you were a part of a freak show or you deserved to get beaten up or bullied if you were? that's how i learned about myself growing up.. no decent teacher is telling your child who fucks who and you know it. maybe stop thinking all lgbt+ stuff is about sex. because it's far more than that.

i would have loved to know when no one was telling me elsewhere that it's normal that sometimes kids have same sex parents, that you can be trans or non binary, I wouldn't have wasted so much time as a kid feeling so shameful and guilt ridden to a point where it's part of my ocd that i deal with even now.

like even i made fun of kids like me, i used to be prejudiced to others and myself because i had no one
