-I am the Crocodile-god who dwelleth amid his terrors. I am the Crocodile-god and I seize like a ravening beast. I am the great Fish which is in Kamui. I am the Lord to whom bowings and prostrations are made in Sekhem. And the Osiris Ani is the lord to whom bowings and prostrations are made in Sekhem.- (Thank you for making this, by the way) Tonight I offer musk and galbanum resin to Sobek, whom I have been devout for years. I have been assaulted by constant bureaucratic red tape that has stood in the way of many goals and it has come to a peak as of recent. I play and beseech for the tenacity to tear through this bullshit.
Could I ask for some good places to read about Sobek? His name keeps popping into my head and He seems very interesting so far.
Sadly, there's just not a whole lot on Sobek. The best place to start would be His henadology page. There are a few blogs here on tumblr as well, trueriptide is one I can name who follows Him along with myself. There is a Per Sebek page as well that you may have interest in. As for books or other sources, most everything I have stumbled upon is minuscule information to just about nothing. The Complete Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt by Richard H. Wilkison has a good chunk of information in book form. I once saw a German book floating around that was solely about Sobek, however I can not relocate that book's information nor a translation (or if it really was a book about Him).
Sobek is indeed a very interesting deity, being One who can freely cross between this land and the afterlife, common associations as a creation deity and having a deeper connection with the primordial waters, even his roles in the Heru/Set Mythos. Sadly information on him is a little stretched and starved out, a bulk of information is seen through Kom Ombo, a still standing temple that had been used in almost a duality between Him and Heru-sa-Aset.
Henadology is your friend, and if you have any more questions about Sobek I would be pleased to help you out in any way.

30 Days of Devotion: Day 7 [Sobek-Ra]
7. Names and epithets.
I use both Sobek and Ra’s epithets to show Him as Sobek-Ra. Italics are the ones I like the most:
