Alright, honest moment. My nutrition has been absolute shit this week. And I feel it. Everything I’ve eaten has tasted good, I’ve just treated myself to much.
So time to recommit and remember that when I eat well I feel good. I am going to aim to get a fruit and/or a veggie in at every meal for the next 3-4 days. I’ll check in Wednesday(ish) and see how that’s gone and work my way back up to my usual 7-10.
I got this? I got this.
You’ve got this!

So, I went to my complimentary consultation today with the plastic surgeon nearby. It was a great experience because everyone was super nice, very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Even the surgeon was great and was very informative about how the procedures would go, made sure I understood that scarring is a definite thing, etc.
She obviously agreed that I pretty much need a full-body adjustment, but due to my financial situation, doing it all at once will be near impossible (as each procedure costs about 6000-7000$). So, she suggested that I at least make an attempt to get the tummy tuck, as it is the part of my body that is almost medically necessary due to it getting in the way of my journey towards health. It’s getting constantly in the way, making it difficult to jog/workout, it is a sanitary issues because trying to keep it clean and dry all of the time, especially when working out, is near impossible and rashes and such happen often.
So now I’ve adjusted my YouCaring donation account to reflect my new estimate for surgery for just the tummy skin removal. If anyone could donate, even just a few dollars, it would help me out immensely (I’m also going to be saving any money I can to put towards it as well, but as a SAHM, my income is near to none) and even if you can’t donate, reblogging to spread the word would help a ton. Thank you so much!

This is the realest shit I’ve ever read
@yogi-blair asked us to introduce ourselves for her promo!
Hi! I’m Val! I’m 53 years old, a native Floridian, and someone who, like many people, has struggled with my weight all my life. Over the years I tried almost everything to lose weight, but nothing ever really worked for me until i finally gave in and tried low-carb. It took me hitting rock bottom at 352 pounds to give low-carb a try. I couldn’t imagine life without my beloved rice, white potatoes, croissants, and cereal (not to mention sugar!!). Now, I can’t imagine returning to my life with them.
I’ve lost over 130 pounds, but what I’ve GAINED is more important: MY HEALTH and my freedom. I’m no longer a slave to food; it doesn’t consume my every waking thought. My insatiable cravings disappeared and I’ve never felt better. All my lab-work, including cholesterol and high blood pressure, are perfect, and pre-diabetes markers are gone.
I still have more weight to lose, my journey is not over, but I feel like I’ve finally found how I was always meant to live and to eat. It took so long, and I sometimes regret the wasted years and all the tears, but I’m glad I finally got here.
For fun, I love Jazzercise, yoga (hot yoga and beach yoga are my favorites!), biking, walking, swimming, and watching the sunset at the beach.
Well hello 👋 😄. Keep up the good job! Congrats 😘
