GOODBYE GYM - Why I Workout At Home
This is your weekly reminder that anything worth having isnât going to come to you over night. It takes hard work, grit, determination, the ability to ditch excuses, and most of all⊠patience. It was a series of choices I made every day for a very long time. Healthy food choices, mainly, but also the choice to work out at a minimum of 4 days a week. These are all choices you can make too and itâs not easy, but i can tell you it is worth it.
Today is the first day in over 3 years where Iâll be putting on a dress that I didnât buy specifically for pregnancy or in postpartum⊠this is also the first time I have felt most satisfied with where I am at in my health. I donât kill myself or stress myself out. I workout 30 mins a day, 4-5 days a week at home and I eat clean at least 6 days a week. Nothing crazy or stressful. Completely doable as a mother of two and someone who doesnât have much free time!! Small efforts every day = long term success!
I get a lot of questions and comments like âWow, you look great. How did you get your baby weight off so quickly?â People are always floored when I tell them I workout from home for only 30 minutes a day. Iâm honestly not sure where I would be today if it hadnât been for these programs. It actually scares me a bit to think about it.
After baby #2, going to the gym just wasnât a possibility for me anymore. Because of having a toddler who was going through a difficult stage of hitting and throwing, we were constantly being kicked out of gym daycare = no workouts for mom. I had to find something else and this something else has made getting healthy and fit SO much easier.
And now when I hear people with crazy schedules tell me how much time they spend in the gym, yet hate it, Iâm always like âWHYYY?! Donât do that to yourself.â I do workout programs FROM HOME. One of my favorites is Jen Ferruggiaâs Bikini Body Guide. A lot of people seem to being doing one by Kayla Itsines too but I have tried it myself and didnât like it much. You can find a comparison review on these workout programs here: https://www.thebbgreview.com
This Review on Tammy Hembrow's workout guide is also a good read!
Anyway... unless you love going to the gym, then carry on with your bad self. But if you donât and itâs not working for you, stop adding unnecessary stress to your life and wasting precious time. Following a guide like these at home is SO much easier!
