Do you play Wildstar still? We RP'd together once or twice back in the day. If you still play, do you want a code for a Junkyard Hoverboard w/ Flair/Flask of Advancement (3H) /Gnix (multi-redeem pet)? A friend gave it to me and I don't really play anymore, so I was thinking of people I could pass it on to.
Somehow I missed this, very sorry-- I do still play, but not enough that It would be worth giving me items someone else would enjoy.

I am really really really wanting some RP on WS but just about every regularly active skyplot or scheduled RP event is bar, restaurant, or dance-club themed. Thereâs nothing wrong with restaurant/bar/dance club RP by itself, but having that as the only readily available choice is really annoying. My Aurin is a warrior! I want him to be doing a lot more than sitting and drinking!

Thatâs a problem on the Exile side especially. I mean sure itâs fun, but every single time? Sometimes you want something else. Iâm really wanting to get at least a circle going for RP thatâs based more on adventurous sorts of things, and different kinds of skyplot settings. I know several people who are in the same situation, so Iâm hoping we can get together and makes some stuff happen soon.
Iâm at the point where Iâve just given up on RP in-game. Â So if there are any Open story-plots (Hell even non-bar housing plot events) that happen around 11PM-3AM EST, I would be EXTREMELY GLAD to hear about it.
Alas, most of my stories happen either out in the world, or at someone elseâs place, be it a bar or a park or wherever. I would like to mention that Glade Wintergale has made a very nice park location that rarely sees any use, and REDTech (Doctor Leskov) is a full science, research and hospital complex that scientists and doctors can use if they agree to the terms of service. :)Â
Well, I havenât had it put on the directory yet, but Cornelius Novakâs medical clinic is open for any injured characters (minor to major surgeries and checkups). Simon Novakâs weapon shop is also open. Just know heâs a grouch, but heâll sell to any Exile (even Aurin) if they got money (rp money of course. I can make weapons but need to stock up on mats). Thereâs also Ekose npcs there to be the cashier. Now If anyone wants to work at either place just poke me or @scienceandwine and we can figure something out. Iâm also workin on a full hospital and a casino on alt plots. Weâll see how that goes.
Zaiâs plot is ICly always open to anyone, but sadly havenât been able to guarantee any hours. Â My RL has been pretty nuts for all of 2016. Â But feel free to use it any time. Â Large open home on a northern island, always open to anyone who needs/wants a spot and wont trash the place.

Time to move on
Well, itâs been fun, but I think Iâm pretty much done with Wildstar. I simply donât have any faith left that the larger community of that game will tolerate the changes required to keep it in business, and the progression there is so linear and so steep that they can basically disrupt everything in the game and take it down if they donât get their way. Itâs too bad, itâs a really good game.
Thatâs not an indictment of the RP community there, by the way. You guys are great people, a lot of fun and very creative, friendly, and supportive. Top-notch.
But in the end, I just canât see investing a bunch more time and effort into a game that I simply donât believe will be here at all a year from now.
Jain isnât a key part of any RP story arcs right now, so it shouldnât be too hard to just have her decide the planet is doomed and pick up stakes and leave. If anyone feels a more detailed farewell IC is required, just let me know through asks and weâll work it out.
Since this account is specific to just that game and a character in it, I doubt Iâll be keeping it open much longer.

I will honestly confess, I just cannot force myself to care about Valentineâs Day (like, Iâm not even hating, that much it is) but this sudden influx of everyoneâs adorable af characters I simply couldnât handle - it just set off my mushy side and I couldnât help myself. As my humble tribute to the whole thing, I thought I would let you see how this semi-holiday was spent by my characters,

If you are asking whether Milos, this goddamn fucking information technology genius is balancing a datachron on his shoulder, the answer is yes. He sometimes forgets that certain things exist. Like functionalities and buttons.
They are playing the vastly popular title Wasteland Relationship Simulator 4 which came out just a little earlier last year. It comes with a lot of bugs. Some of them even fly.

Share a Wildstar headcanon of yours.
Aurin parents collect the first tail bangle of their small infant once they grow out of them and wear them proudly strung up as jewelry. An aurin with a large family could end up with a few of them and turn them into a charm necklace or bracelet.
Only female Aurin have wing-ears due to their stronger Weave connection. Wing ears donât hear as well, or regulate temperature a well as other ear types but are sensitive to tugs and snags in the Weave itself. Theyâre used as an indicator of an Aurinâs potential bond with the Weave.
Every Chua loves pie. There is not a Chua in the universe that does not have an affinity for any sort of pie, and all Chua eat pie as one of their main food groups. A Chua will stop what they are doing if offered pie. Especially Noriâs pie.
There are two âclassesâ of Aurin - those who live in trees and those who live on the ground, or under it. Adessa lovingly refers to them as âhighupsâ and âlowdowns.â
Not all trees were benevolent overlords.
Spellslinger runes are highly personalized. Each slinger has left their own mark or creation on a basic design and tweaked it to their own liking. These runes can be sketched in the air, onto weapons, the ground or just about anyplace then activated by a touch of magic.Â
The Ancestral Decreeâs didnât just create a legal distinction between Highborn and Lowborn citizens, but also created several rules and laws on how Highborn families are allowed to interact with one another.
Since what makes a Highboirn highborn is Lumanai blood the preservation of bloodlines is everything in politics. To the point where there are several conventions regulating how Families are allowed to engage in conflict. A Highborn Family cannot just âdeclare warâ on another and slug it out with their personal armies, because not only will that cause an unnecessarily large amount of death but other Families sworn to service or allied with the conflictees will wade in and before you know it, half of Cassusâs Highborn aristocracy is trying to kill one another.
To engage in any kind of conflict Highborn Families have to declare kanly, which is a formal declaration of a feud or vendetta between individuals or Families. Conflict via kanly usually takes the form of duels or a âWar of Assassinsâ where any fighting happens by proxy through Family agents or those hired by them.
Other Highborn Families are forbidden from interfering in kanly unless one of itâs members is specifically brought in to act as an agent or proxy of one of the two feuding parties. Anything up to and including outright assassination is permitted under the rules of kanly, and the entire process is closely monitored by the Inquisition (being an arm of the Vigilant Church, theyâre the ones that have jurisdiction in anything relating to the Decree).
This type of inter-family warfare has given rise to a profession in Cassian society known as bards. Just like the Orlesian bards from the Dragon Age series, a Cassian bard is equal parts performer and entertainer along with clandestine operative. Bards are generally free agents without a permanent Highborn master, and act in a number of roles ranging from simple information gatherer to outright assassin. At this point the use of bards is just seen as another aspect of politics and isnât frowned upon.
After all, they help keep the collateral damage down to a minimum, which is the whole point of the system anyway.
Mordesh are often regarded as reserved by other exile races because they are inaware of the complex and subtle body language/hand gestures which mordesh utilize. Ex. In a conversation invovling several people, a mordesh may point their toes as they in the direction of the person they find most interesting. If handing someone something, the more âopenâ the hand being used, the friendlier the sentiment.
Mordesh also seem more reclusive because with the lack of subtle body language, they have a hard time understanding more overt emotional reactions in others. This in combination with the fairly common desire to avoid causing a âsceneâ in public leads to them being distant until they have time to figure out the emotions of others.
Are they flirting with me or are they just friendly? Do they absolutely hate my guts or are they just miffed? Was that a threat or are they just frustrated? Are any of these emotions directed at me, or are they just projecting in general?
There are a number of Mordesh who have absolutely excelled with inter-species personal interactions since coming to Nexus. They have found that unlike on Nexus where they were often viewed as impulsive and over-emotional, they fit right in with the humans, aurin and granok.

Mordesh religious alchemy involved not only potion making, but the performing of various rituals design to appease the elements and bring them into balance by bolstering or weakening them as needed. This was accomplished by ritual chants performed in front of an altar emblazoned with specially designed sigils that, if activated by a competent priest, could access the same void dimension used by spellslingers.
Most Enclaves had an altar dedicated to religious alchemical rituals situated on the highest point on the Enclave grounds or the main Enclave village area.
Even today, Mordesh spellslingers tend to eschew the traditional cassian sigils, instead using sigils derived from the ancient Kemosivan spellslinging ways.
Unlike other species, Granok need a certain level of alcohol to think clearly. Â Never trust a fully sober granok gunner, or a granok surgeon who has had fewer than two beers.

Comforting-- This one really depends on who is being comforted. Any of them could be the best for different people (Even Sarian, the amoral horrific old hag that she is, has done a fairly good job of this ICly)
Styling Hair- Definetely Ole Starember.  This is in part because Murder Grandpa cares how he looks more than most of my lot.
Punching someone out- Zai is very well practiced at this-- Sam technically has the best punch, but shes liable to screw up and hit hard enough for it to be murder instead of a knock out on some really soft targets
Saving Money- Sarian Svarkova, hands down.  Mad Science requires funding and money management.
⌠Public speaking
Most likely Sarian Svarkova- Although as a professor she distained teaching, her requests for funding and occasional lectures were pretty epic.
â Insulting others
Sarian and Zai would have an insult off where no one and everyone wins for the title.
â Cleaning up ⌠Public speaking ⥠Ice skating â Dancing with a partner ⢠Flexible stretches
Cleaning up- Miran Skybroken is obsessively clean and would be the best of the lot. Clutter, or worse, filth, drives her nuts. The Rock Doc NEEDS perfect sanitation in her work space.
Public Speaking- Sarian would be the best, if she didn't have a thick accent.
Ice Skating- Zai, 100% Zai. Shes an Aurin from the far north and very much at home on ice.
Dancing with a partner- Sarian actually was trained in ballroom dancing before Grismara went to hell. She doesn't enjoy it, but she still is good at it after all this time, and even with the loss of her life long partner.Â
Flexible Stretches-- Sam Aiam is the most flexible, if only because her joints have an above average range of mobility-- The joy of artificial limbs
