Wedding Etiquette: Everything You Need To Know Before Casting Your Vote
Polls run for 24 hours. It is yes or no. They're invited, or they're not.
Initial polls are whether the character is invited, not whether they're attending. Vote according to whether you believe Jester and Fjord will invite them, not whether you personally would.
Follow-up polls on whether they will attend (or, if not invited, crash) are added as a reblog the evening after the poll closes.
Invitation polls post at 11:00am and 2:00pm ET. Attendance polls post at 5:00pm and 8:00pm.
Invitation polls are tagged #FjoresterWeddingGuests and follow-ups are tagged #FjoresterWeddingRSVPs to facilitate filtering.
Characters are people Fjord and Jester know, have heard of, or reasonably might know or have heard of. They must be reasonably capable of attending (not dead, not magically bound to the seafloor, not born into the world less than a year ago, so on).
No polls for characters who are definitely invited, like Marion or the Gentleman, or are already known or suggested to be, like Essek.
I may break these guidelines for comedy and my own amusement.
Feel free to elaborate on your reasons or on any nuances or other thoughts in the tags, as an addition, or in the replies.
Do not bash characters or be snide. This is not a place to be mean or nasty or to air your criticisms, personal feelings, or grievances. Participating does not give you license to be catty.
I will consider suggestions but reserve the right to ignore them. I will delete asks attempting to sway voters; you must campaign on the poll itself. Campaigns must be polite, in good sport, and not attack others.
Finally, this is ultimately a joke blog. Yes, Jester is likely to invite everyone she knows — that is the punchline. This is about the extreme range of that "everyone" and for fun.
