First time I've logged on here in like...a year?

I miss the 2000s because there were so many fashion trends and moments when it was encouraged to look like a hot-ass mess. The Instagram age is this weird era of control and perfection and “eyebrows on fleek” blah blah like I miss when everyone walked around with last night’s eyeliner still on while wearing 25 stupid accessories at once dressed like you slept in trash or whatever.

I don’t really post on here much anymore, but my new bean is worth sharing on every platform! Meet Scout, the newest addition to the family. She’s a pit bull husky mix, and Saige is very excited to be promoted to a big sister!

Life lessons I’m learning in my 20s: I always had this feeling inside of me that I should be doing more or that I should be working towards something and accomplishing more. Although goals and dreams are important, I realized it’s far more valuable to live in the present moment, to enjoy what comes. The only thing I really need to work towards or change is me. I want to become kinder, softer. I want to express who I am and do things out of love than out of obligation.
