It all started with hangyodon, but I just kept doing it. I spent like 3 hours today using a gel pen to solidify the white, and ow, ouch. It woulda been so much easier with just a paint marker, but I didn't want to get up and all I had was a gel pen sooooo ouch oof yowie!

I pulled my stickers from the local game store. It didn't work out. I don't mind. It just wasn't enticing placement or promotion. I say to myself, delusional.

But idk, if you guys do like my stuff and want to have some of it in your home, consider buying a sticker. They're made by hand! Everything made by my hand...the packaging, the laminating, the drawing the cutting, I have a printer...I think that counts....

#today just hasnt been good. just dad outright saying i cant make money off of art and completely demeaning the hobby #just really hurts. and if i tell him i only made 12 dollars in sticker sales over 3 months?#hes not going to care how good i get with my art. its all money. and i dont care about money #i dont want art to be a job. i just want to be able to keep making art. but even as a hobby he says its a waste of time #says the man who drinks as a hobby. but it just stinks knowing that the people who are supposed to support you no matter what #actively hate everything you do and how you do things. he'd rather see me rot in bed or napping the day away than making a comic #and i dont even make my comic anymore because i dont have time AND im rotting in bed #i dont want to just survive. i want to make art. i dont want to just live. i want to be happy.#and i have no idea how to justify it my existence to this man.#i donated 90 pounds of art supplies today. and as we drove there dad told me #'you should go back to school and do what you love. just not art. you showed me how you cant sustain yourself with art. so do something else #like then why even say do what i love if what i love doesnt make money. just be up front and say 'go be an accountant so you make money'#not 'follow your dreams. but not THOSE dreams. those dreams are stupid'#it doesnt make sense. he doesnt make sense. he has no hobbies he has no passions. he had no dreams #his only dream was to marry mom and thats it. he doesnt care about ir respects his kids. and i have to come to terms with that #hes old retired abd he wont change. i need to embrace myself and what i want. and ill become what i want. i just need to believe in myself #i dont need him. hes one person. everyone else in the world believes in me. why am i caught up on him.#so uhh yeah. if you like my art. buy a sticker or smth hfjkdkskcj #here comes a reblog

I got the manga yesterday, but I'm already reading it again because I love it so much.

The different neurodivergent characteristics that they touched on really, really hits close and it just gives a feeling of being seen and being understood.

I'm not going to share the parts that make me cry, but I will share some panels that freaking resonate in my brain and remind me that it's okay!

Read it yourself, but I highly recommend buying the physical volumes so you can hold it close to your heart and make the book uniquely yours by soaking the pages with your tears.
