Background

Ashwin is one of twelve—adopted by his parents from america when he was young. His mother and father always wanted a lot of kids, having a lot of love to give, so they decided to expand their family past their three biological children and slowly adopt others over the years. Whilst also acting a foster home for an array of other children.

He was happy when he got his job at Hogwarts, it gave him a chance to finally teach the subject he loved most, as well as get away from a toxic relationship. He was left devastated when his boyfriend of four years had an affair and kicked him out. Hogwarts was his fresh start.

There, he met Silvanus Kettleburn. A fellow teacher that he fell for almost instantly, and after a while pining and hesitance, the two finally got together. There have been soem rocky parts, break ups, but he wouldn't change it for the world. He loves his husband and their one year old, Rosie.

Sil has spent his life finding solace in magical creatures, and the bottom of a bottle. A loner, he spent years travelling and working with exotic animals, honing his skills.

When his brother Charlie went missing after a vicious accident, he sank into a deep depression. Taking a job at Hogwarts to find some kind of purpose, he eventually turned to alcohol. He would drink day and night, even showing up for classes with liquor on his breath.

Sil was saved by his now husband, Ashwin Caldwell. He showed him how to be happy, safe and stable. They have a cottage in Hogsmeade and a one year old baby girl called Rosalie.
