“No idea…. But did you?”
He shook his head. “Nope. I mean with a name like Lola, I’m assuming a person? So no, I haven’t lit anyone on fire.”

“Why do people keep asking me if I lit Lola on fire? Who even is Lola?!”

Yeah, it was fucked up. Kate knew it. Her father probably knew it. Everyone knew it. Still, she flashed Johnny a quick smile. “I think everyone here understands the dysfunctional family thing. And I don’t think that anyone would be okay with it. It’s weird.”
Lots of things were fucked up, but he felt for Kate and her weird situation. “So you’re here to get away from that, or...?”

“Sounds like fun. You could get all cleaned up for once,” she teased. “You could, but you’d have to break quite a few rules and I really don’t think it would be worth it. Not exactly the best place for a date, if you ask me.” She tried not to judge, but it was just so creepy. “Oh yeah, all the time. Except for those times I find you wandering around naked and it’s like herding a cat to find you some pants.” She snorted. “I bet she is.” She shrugged. “Who knows? There’d be crazier things for sure. This place is pretty much the home of crazy.”
He pouted at her. “Cruel. That’s what you are. Cruel.” He leaned back on his bed. “Hence why I didn’t show her. She seemed to really like the library though.” He shook his head, pouting. “It’s so much fun to burn off my clothes though, especially because it pisses you off.” He snorted. “I mean, I can light on fire. Probably would have scared Sue half to death if I could have done that as a kid.”
atlanteanoutofwater:
“Is it not worth an attempt if you are unhappy?” He questioned. “That is indeed a lot of geniuses. You would think they would be able to cater to their students’ needs.”
He shrugged, considering what Namor was saying. He really wanted to have was a mechanics class, even though he could already build pretty much anything. “It might be worth it, but who would even teach something like that?” He shrugged again. “A lot of those geniuses teach sciences, not engineering or mechanics.”

reed richards + JOHNNY STORM
vanishingstorm:
"Well, good for you.” Susan nodded slowly. “You haven’t stolen her innocence have you? I understand that the bonding of combination of phenylethylamine, norepinephrine and dopamine are hard to ignore, but they are just nuerochemicals.“ She was sounding like Reed, and that was not okay. “Really, Johnny, I’m sorry. You like to heat things up. It was just my first thought. And I didn’t actually kill you, did I?” Susan huffed at his next comment and crossed her arms. “Only since the accident. Do you blame me? War, Registration Acts… It’s been crazy.”
He blushed. “Sue! No, I haven’t. Besides, I don’t think she’s the innocent little flower you’re portraying her to be.” He groaned. “I swear I just heard Reed’s words come out of your mouth and that’s scary.” He shrugged again. “Well, I’m still alive so I guess that’s something,” he said. “It’s been insane. Crystalia actually asked me about the War and the Registration Act. It’s tough to explain to someone who’s never really been around humans before.”
elementxlle:
“I suppose we have something in common then. I’m sure Maximus, my cousin, would have loved to be the youngest. But it’s nice to talk to someone who understands. It’s stressful, isn’t it? I don’t mean to find trouble, it just seems to find me. Perhaps its because we never left Attilan.” She needed to get her blushing act together. “You’re going to kill me.” She chuckled. “I cannot stop blushing because you keep complimenting me. You’re too sweet.”
“Being the youngest was great though. Meant I could get away with all sorts of crap that Sue never would have been allowed to get away with.” He didn’t want her to know what had happened with his family after their mother died. He laughed. “It can be stressful, but it’s something I got used to.” He grinned. “Trouble finding you isn’t a bad thing, Crystalia.” He liked the way her name sounded. His grin widened. “You’re even prettier when you blush so I think I’ll keep on complimenting you. You’re sweet too. You know that, right?”
elementxlle:
“I’ve always felt it was important to not favorite one over the other, because they all need to work in harmony. Like, there’s air in water and fire. And earth needs water. They’re also each others weaknesses. I don’t know. Perhaps I’ve spent too much time alone as of late.” She shrugged. “I’m a diplomat, I have to be courteous.” And Crystalia was trying to take her job seriously. “It is tedious at times. But speaking of understanding, I was reading one of your newspapers. Did you really just have a war against each other?”
“Everything in balance, right? Or moderation?” he asked, hoping he was correct in his interpretation of how she viewed her powers. “If you ever want company, you know where to find me.” He sighed, remembering all the shit that had happened because of the Registration Act. “Yeah, we did. Some of the group here wanted superhumans and mutants all to register. Basically if that had happened, serious shit would have gone down because it’d basically be a master list of people the government considers dangerous on a good day. The other side was the anti-registration camp. It was a tough period. You didn’t know exactly who you could trust. It was just bad.”
stretchbeyondgenius:
“We’re organic tissue. The sample didn’t mutate. It’s the first step to figuring out what went wrong.”
Johnny sat up straighter. “Wait. You’re serious. We might actually figure this shit out?” he said, a bit incredulous.
vanishingstorm:
“I don’t know. As a joke? Wait, Gel and Crystalia? Do you mean Crystalia like the Inhuman Crystalia?” Susan had heard the name from Reed’s research. He had been working for a while to see if their powers were Inhuman based before he found that they wouldn’t. “Johnny,” she sighed. “I’m sorry. Stress levels are clearly up to here.”
“Yeah, the Inhuman Princess. She and I have been hanging out.” He hoped it wasn’t too obvious that he thought the Inhuman was pretty. Though his sister could read him pretty well. He shrugged, attempting to hide the hurt. “I wouldn’t take something that you used for classes. Something else as a joke, yeah, but not that book.” He snorted. “Your stress levels are always up to there, sis.”
elementxlle:
“I didn’t have much of a choice.” Crystalia admitted. “Medusalith was always engaged to Black Bolt and set to be queen, but I had to study as well.” Plus, she hadn’t wanted to be the family disappointment. The Amaquelin sisters were different, what with going through Terrigenisis so young. She hadn’t wanted to let anyone down. His blush brought a small chuckle out of her, and Crystalia wondered to herself how she had become such a giggling, blushing mess. “I thank you then. You know that you’re also cute, right? And I’m not just saying that because you complimented me first.” Crystalia reached out and quickly squeezed his hand, hoping she wasn’t over stepping. “You don’t need to be royalty to be liked. You are more than enough as is, Johnny Storm.”
He tilted his head, listening to her story. “I’m the baby of the family, and I was always expected to live up to Sue’s standards. It was... Difficult, to say the least, so I think I know where you’re coming from.” He had always been the one getting in trouble, trying to rebel against everything. He blushed harder. “Thank you,” he said, smiling at her. He was mildly surprised that she squeezed his hand like that. “Thank you again. I think you are lovely to be around, personally.”
elementxlle:
At his acceptance, Crystalia looked back up at him and smiled. “I’m an elemental. It basically means that I have some control over the four elements.” It was a bit more intricate than that, but now wasn’t the time to brag. “I have to meet her then. As for your friends, I hope they do. It’s strange. I want to get to know everyone, but at the same time I know I must be careful because my actions could reflect poorly on my home if I’m not aware.”
Johnny considered this for a moment. “I would definitely like to see what you can do with your powers. Only having fire gives me more of a chance to perfect it, but I’m sure you’re wonderful with the other three too.” He smiled. “You’re sweet enough that that everyone will like you, I promise.” He nodded understandingly. “That makes sense. You just have to be careful like you said. I think most people here are pretty understanding.”
elementxlle:
“I always enjoyed my studies.” Crystalia shrugged, examining a book. It was a title she had never heard of before, but it was pretty still. She was in the middle of flipping through the pages when she glanced back up at Johnny. “Would you have a different name for it?” Sliding the book back into the shelf, Crystal knew that there was nothing she could do to hide her blush. Her cheeks were just too pale. “I’m cute? That’s… I suppose that fits. I am the baby of my family.” Medusalith was beautiful and regal. She was the queen. Crystalia was cute. There was no resentment there, because Crystal agreed. “I’m surprised that you’re not surrounded by people, actually.”
He knew he was reasonably intelligent, but he always felt a little dwarfed by Sue and later he definitely felt dwarfed by Reed. Then again, he was pretty sure everyone felt dwarfed by Reed. “Studying wasn’t always high on my priorities.” He shrugged. “I don’t know if I would, I just never tried to figure out really what it was to me.” He grinned. She was even more cute when she blushed. “I wasn’t saying you were cute just because you were the baby of your family. I really think you’re cute.” He dropped his gaze, blushing hard enough that it was visible on his face. “I’m well liked enough, but I’m not pretty royalty.”
elementxlle:
Crystalia had been introduced to the Mists as a child. She had been with her powers for a long time, and her abilities were a part of her. That wasn’t to say that she didn’t work on them though, because she did. “We could train together sometime. If you’d like, that is.” She added the last part on quickly and looked away. “I cannot imagine my life without Medusalith. It’s strange to not see her.” She smiled once more. “Excellent. I can’t wait. They sound wonderful.”
He looked down at her, a boyish grin on his face. Johnny was mildly disappointed she wasn’t looking at him but there wasn’t much he could do to change that. “That would definitely be great. I’d like to see what your powers look like.” He nodded understandingly. “It would be strange not to see Sue on a daily basis.” He smiled. “They’ll love you, I’m sure.”
atlanteanoutofwater:
“Perhaps you could complain to Director Coulson. There are enough teachers here that I assume they could do better.” Not that he knew much about surfacer schools. “There are many geniuses here, are there not?”
“Complaining to Coulson isn’t going to do jackshit,” Johnny said, shrugging. “They can do better, but whatever.” He nodded. “There are seven of the seven smartest people on the planet here.”
