Man, the relationship between Fathom and Albatross before the event is so interesting

I don’t see nearly enough people talk about how much they both needed that relationship (mentor, mentee), and how without outside dragons pushing them to their extreme, things could have gone differently. It’s very unfortunate how it lead so quickly to the both of them shutting off from the world, one more literally than the other.
