Aki studies the man before him, eyebrows lowering in caution - but she doesn't feel so scared; his aura is soft, gentle. Stepping forwards, a hand comes out in a greeting, a smile appearing on unusually pale features. "H-Hi! My name's Aki Nagashi. I haven't seen someone like you around the streets of Britain before. Are you lost, by any chance?"
“Hm?” Attention looking over after having been lost in the scenery, the male would see the pale woman speaking over to him. Was he acting lost? Wait, was he lost? The thought now had him pulling back on a coat to pull out some papers from an inner pocket in order to glance over the information on them. Looking back around, he would turn back with a smile to him.
“Ah no! Not lost at all from what I can tell. I am relatively new to the area, though. Just here on some business,” he would explain with the papers being tucked back into the same pocket as before.
She followed him into the base, sneaky steps hidden from view, staying behind him to survey the cultists. A five pointed pentagram glowed purple on the ground, runes etched into the surface with chalk. Aki watched warily - she couldn’t tell if these were all of the members, or only a few. She tugged on his sleeve, nervous tingles coursing up her arms, hairs standing on end. The enchantment finished, and what appeared to be an undead monster rose up through the floor. “Shit! Th-this isn’t good! Time to banish that thing!” Scrambling forwards, she raised a clawed hand in the air and summed her katana, brandishing it - in one full swing she lopped one of the member’s heads off as the others turned to fight.
“Oh... I was a little mistaken,” the only comment made as he watched the monster rise. The woman seemed to be handling her own against some of the summoners, so he would handle the matter with the undead beast. Lifting up a hand to tighten the glove, he would need a solid hit. An undead beast brought forth to this world through a magical medium. One blast should be enough,” he muttered to himself with his hand soon generating a black vapor that would coil around his arm and up to his elbow. Once secure, he would vanish from his spot and into the monster’s face. “Burn away...” he spoke, softly with his fist coming into contact with the monster. With a turn of his wrist, the coil would spring forward and unleash a sudden explosion that covered the beast in the black flame along with sending the beast flying backwards into the others approaching.
“My name is Kuraduro Iroth,” he would announce to the room as he landed back on the ground, “and by the order of the Shinigami, you’ve all been sentenced for final judgement.”

“Yep! I agree with you. Let’s hit ‘em where it hurts, and they won’t even expect a thing. I like it.” Following the black flame proved easy enough; but she wondered if their base of operations was heavily armed. Guards? No problem. She had a katana she could summon for a reason. “I can pick up a few scent trails nearby…but it looks like they’re inside.” Scanning the enemy’s base she noticed it was made out of cement - it would be easy to blast through. “Do you want to do a stealth attack? I can take them out easy if I’m fast enough, so it won’t trigger the alarm!”
“In the end, the alarm will be triggered. Unfortunately, I have methods that are a little silly,” he commented as he moved closer to the side of a wall. A hand placed on it, a darkness would begin to overtake it as he motioned for the other to follow while he stepped on it. A version of his teleportation, he simply needs to allow his own magic to hide within an object to warp himself. In this case, she’d be able to follow along. Careful steps would move him through the base as he approached the main attraction, a group of people in position as they chanted and channeled their own magic into a rather large seal placed all around them.

“If there’s an undead party, I’m going to crash it.” Her grin subsided as she rubbed her arms up and down, listening to the purple-haired man talk. It was obvious he had superb flame control; she stared at it in awe as it flickered and burned, yet not hurting its owner. Looking back at Kuraduro, her expression turned to one of a serious nature. “…Once, a few centuries ago, there was a vampire who sought out to conquer the world with his army of undead slaves…I helped to destroy him and his coven. I can take anything you throw at me, Kuraduro. Just say the word.” A hand ran through ruby red locks as she followed him, eyes still trained on the flame. “So, Kuraduro, where are the culprits hiding this time?”
She was more than willing to go about it, but he wondered if she would have a chance against this enemy. Considering he had to be sent, he knew it wouldn’t be a push-over. “We’ll see what happens, then.” he commented before he raised his hand up to let the flame into the air. The dark flame would explode outward into the sky and head off in a direction.
“There’s your answer. We follow in that direction, and we’ll come across their base of operation. From there, I only want to observe and see if there’s a way to stop this before they begin with their plans. The best way to prevent war is to stop it from beginning, right?”

An eyebrow perked at his insistence for her to flee; she wondered just what business he had to undertake. It must’ve been dangerous work. Red hues surveyed the man’s purple eyes, flickering. “Kuraduro…that’s an interesting name! I quite like it.” A pause and a momentary grin, before she continued. “However, I think you might just be underestimating my abilities. I’m pretty powerful, if I may say so myself.” An arm reached out to touch a pendant hanging around her neck delicately, grasping it. “I may not be pureblood, but I know the streets of London very well; I have inhuman speed, and sight that almost rivals a harpy or werewolf’s.” Her grin grew wider. “If that doesn’t make me a threat, I don’t know what does!”
She pretty much not only confirmed what he had believed, but she went farther to explain who she was. A little reckless on that information, but it was possible that this place was a little more lenient as well. What mattered was that she had some ability, but it wasn’t enough to make him feel comfortable.
“It is good to know your own strengths, but you do not know the strengths that lie ahead,” he commented before he pulled his hand out from his pocket to show a black flame resting in his hand. It would flicker with life and seem to grow as he continued to move forward. “The magic in the air around here is only growing stronger as we approach. The enemy I’m seeking are looking to disrupt this world through one hell of an undead party. Think you’re up for that?”

Her eyes turned towards the paper that he tucked in his pocket curiously, and her fangs bared into a soft smile. “O-oh, business? I don’t want to interfere, but would I be able to tag along? I wouldn’t get involved in your business, but simply show you around the streets of London. Maybe we can get to know each other more!” He was really cute, Aki noticed, and she tried not to stare, to no avail. Since when had she seen someone so handsome? It had been quite a while.
A small moment of silence as the violet hues of the Iroth spotted the fangs for a brief moment. Pale skin and those fangs? That was a small sign of a matter, but it didn’t concern him. Not at the moment, anyway. She didn’t hold any ill intent, so he would go by that for now.
“Do as you wish, but I will ask of one condition. If I tell you to run, I want you to listen. I cannot say what is it that I am doing, but I can tell you that it may result in something a little too chaotic for bystanders,” he commented before pushing on ahead with eyes forward. A gloved hand slid into an outside pocket as the male glanced around the area in silence. After a moment. . . “Ah, right! Sorry, My name is Kuraduro.”

In way over his head. He was use to this by now, but he wasn’t use to this extreme. Panting, loss of feeling in his left arm and legs, and vision ready to black out were certainly not a good sign. What made it worse was the inability to retreat. His mission was so close to being finished, but his target was beyond expectations. This was unnatural to say the least, and he was unable to find the answer needed to end this monstrosity that had been unleashed. A demon from hell that burned red and roared with such intensity that it nearly caused the Iroth to stumble back and collapse. Being up on his feet now was just pure will at this point. Did he even have enough to release a solid impact.
My sources are limited, and I know I can’t unleash anything without dying right after. At this rate, I’m a dead man no matter what happens from here on out. Heh...
Eyes closed as he extended his right arm out to the side with his black aura emitting out from it. Everything he had in one shot. He was going to probably burn up his arm, but there was no need to worry of the aftermath when he had no intent on surviving this. The coils wrapped around his arm with his fist tightening. All he needed was to hit this impact spot on. To blow away his horned beast back to hell.
“A life for a life... This is my judgement...” A weak voice spoke as he took a step forward. He was ready for this to end. It was just a shame that he didn’t finish what he wished. Etsuko was still not quite ready to be without him, but Kurohime could ground her. Which reminded him that he hadn’t finished his little cousin’s training just yet. She may have to learn on the fly unless his older brother decided to come by. He’d be a much better leader if he could be accepted as such. One bright side ... he had a lecture to look forward on the other side.
A soft smile came to him as he drew in what he believed to be his final breath. This was his all-in, and he had to make it count. To save this world from a supernatural disaster was his sole duty. A step forward, another step, he would begin to run but his legs gave way.. Why? He felt a weight on his shoulder and soon blonde passing by his eyes. The third degree coils vanished as he fell to his knees for blurred eyes to stare on ahead. Someone was walking on toward the beast on their own. Long blonde hair, a fit and strong back, a pair of legs that looked more than capable of carrying the weight before her, and a pair of fists that were ready to go. For a brief moment, he swore he saw this person turn to look back at him. A smile... A familiar smile with eyes... Those eyes...
A hand slowly reached out as he reached toward the other. Unfortuantely, he was unable to push on anymore as he finally fell forward and felt his conscious slowly fade away. This wasn’t good. He had to move. Even if he couldn’t see, he could still hear. He heard the beast roaring out, and he would eventually hear devastating impacts along with a wail. That would be all that he remembered as he drifted off. A spirit still so willing, but he still possessed a body with limitations. Though ... he heard a voice call to him. A voice that spoke to him in familiarity.
Your life isn’t just something to throw away, y’know? I thought you were much better than that. How much do you even have bottled up in you? I saw those fake smiles, and it really pisses me off! You’re not okay, and you’re never going to be okay until you finally let it go! You know it isn’t your fault! Just let it go, and let it all out. You look so much better with a proper smile... Kuro-kun
This voice echoed in his mind as his eyes slowly opened. He was staring up at one of his medical members, and he could hear others exploring the area and cleaning up the mess while dealing with a demonic body that would have to be properly disposed. He could hear other people talking, and he heard someone ask who even done this? The more he thought about it, the more a name began to stir in his mind. His body was wrapped up, and everything around him felt tight. His muscles, his limbs ... Everything felt like it wouldn’t be able to move properly for a good while. Even his breathing was difficult. Even with that, he was slowly pushing himself up from the ground despite his medic telling him to stay down. A hand would move up to push the other back as he got up to his feet.
Eyes could see the damage done to the beast. High impact strikes with such precision. There was no doubt that each point struck were weak, vital points. Moving closer, he would slowly look around to see there were no signs of anyone else or any other group that could had been there. The medic came up to the Iroth with a hand placed on his shoulder and a simple question to be asked.
“Who else was here...?” the question asked.
The name spiraled in his mind as a mouth so dry that he could speak it. How long had it been since he heard that name? Back then, his name was spoken much more playful and teasingly. She served to irritate his moody self in order to break him free of the depression that was dragging him under. This time, he heard his name spoken differently. The voice was slightly different, a little older... but he could not mistaken it. No one else called him that.
To a man that was left with no memento other than memories that haunted him with regrets that always plagued his conscious, this one moment was just another one that left him with so much. It wasn’t a question of whether or not she was alive or dead, but it was a question of why he could never do anything for himself. Why?... Why was he this weak? Was it because he couldn’t let go?
“On.....kyou....” his voice was a soft whisper as he slowly reached a hand out with the blurred memory replacing his reality for the time. The long, blonde hair that flowed and those eyes that looked back to him. He saw it... He saw the pain in her eyes because of the pain he had been in. “I’m... I’m sorry...” an apology left him which had the medic rather confused and even concerned with Kuraduro dropping to his knees.
“I’m so sorry...!” a little more louder as his eyes clenched shut and his good hand gripping at his battle-worn jeans. “I can never let go, I can never look on ahead without glancing back. You saved me back then, and you’re still saving me now because I can’t survive out on my own! I can’t smile properly without you around to judge me for it! It’s been so long, yet I can’t ever forgive myself for you getting hurt...” his voice weakened as others came around to try and calm the other down. Even with the presence of so many familiar faces, he found himself completely ignoring the voices around him with his mind focusing on the woman that had happened.
“I can never let go of the fact I couldn’t do it in time. I couldn’t tell you how much I appreciated everything...” that statement had him going quiet for a moment as he found himself standing back up and looking around the room. He had no idea about anything anymore, but.... to just let it all out?
“I couldn’t tell you how much I appreciated everything... I couldn’t tell you how much I respected you for trying to help such a stubborn brat back then. I couldn’t tell you how deeply grateful I was for you sticking by my side throughout my training and my recklessness. I couldn’t admit to you how much I wanted to spend time with you even if I was being so rude to you. How much I appreciated you growing up alongside me and eventually breaking me free from it all. I never had the chance to say anything to you, so please hear me now...! Onkyou...I!” he paused as he began what seemed to be a mad rant. Looking to his hand for a moment, he wondered just how foolish he was being. He didn’t even know who or what really did that or who even saved him. Whether it was her or not, he heard someone speak to him.
“I’m... I’m so thankful to have known you. I’m so thankful that you spent so much time helping me become who I am now. My life isn’t something to throw away. You’re right... You always were right. There’s still so much more I want to say, but I’d rather save such words the next time we meet face-to-face even if I do not deserve to speak those words to you after putting you throught his...” his arm moved up to wipe away at teared eyes before looking back up to the sky, to the heavens above.
It still pains me to know I may never see you in this lifetime ever again. It pains me to know I can still never tell you one thing that I wish I could had said so long ago. There is one thing I’m truly grateful for, and that is giving me the time to truly have fallen for someone like you.... “Kyou-chan..”
Curls her arms around his waist in a surprisingly constricting grip. She’s not only stronger than she looks; she really has no intention of letting go.
Well, that was not only a surprising grip but the force of it was also pretty impressive. She wasn’t about to let go of him which made him wonder what was going on? He wasn’t going to find out by looking down to the girl with a puzzled expression.
“What’s going on, Obito? Everything okay?” A question asked followed with a hand to her shoulder.
❝ Right, thank you! ❞ Mikoto looked away. ❝ Here is quiet and peaceful, I would not want to get out of here if it was my homeland. ❞ She smiled at him.
“Your choice is your choice. If you wish to stay, you may. In doing so, you are leaving behind your own destiny for one that is undetermined. Leaving your life for something new and unknown.” He commented as he returned his attention to the woman, a soft smile to him. “At least, that is what the legend says. It is up to you in the end.”
The class seemed to be anxious which was to be expected with the weekend drawing near. All he had to teach for the day had been accomplished, but he held concern that there should be more to say. Maybe some life lessons to speak of, but he had nothing relevant to say at the time. Thinking on it, maybe he did have something he could give to them.
“Well, I see a lot of you are ready for the weekend. Before you guys leave, I want to say one thing.” Some of the class settled, but there were some not really interested. He did have a knack for speaking these ‘lessons’ and would be accused of being an old man. Still, it didn’t stop him. “As you leave, you have your plans in mind. Also keep in mind of what is around you and who is around you. Appreciate all that you have from the small to the big. You may not realize it now, but the things you see as small now may be the biggest meaning to your life.” he spoke before giving a small bow with the bell ringing soon after.
terravaettir said: “I trusted it wasn’t made of a metal that wouldn’t burn me?” Honestly she didn’t even truly understand the items purpose. Why couldn’t she get the screen to change? “I think it’s malfunctioning.” // she’s stuck on the lock screen. Save her.
“Well, you trusted right on that part,” and he saw that he was right in a belief. She had no idea what she was doing with it. As dangerous as it may be, he looked over her shoulder to punch in a couple of numbers that would unlock the phone for her. “There ya go ~”
A beautiful and peaceful forest area was more than enough to settle Kuraduro’s nerves. He took along on this scouting mission for the reason of relaxing in it. That and the Earth attributed Iroth wanted nothing to do with peaceful forests. She was always the one for the assassination types. He didn’t mind this, plus he wanted to see if it was possible to draw out the protector of this forest.
Deciding to stop and rest, Kuraduro sat himself down on a log and pulled out a bottle of water. Pulling back on his hood, the male could look around him and take in the sight around him. Plenty of green, trees, and forest life was all around. Truly a beautiful area to relax and enjoy one’s self. It was just a shame that human life could easily taint this land. At least it was protected.
