The Royal Unova was a Castelia hot-spot, and it certainly had the right to be. It only set sail near sunset and dusk, so the lights of the sky and city could truly be appreciated. Trainers liked to gather to fight aboard the ship, but battling was the last thing Elesa wanted to do right now. She’d done so much battling as of late, she just wanted to take a bit of time off so she could relax.
Nimbasa was a fair ways away from Castelia, so it did take time to get there. However, she’d made it just in time for the evening cruise. She wasn’t the most common sight in this town, so it didn’t surprise her that townsfolk had their eyes on her. The problem was, she didn’t care tonight. She wanted nothing but to relax. She didn’t want to battle, she didn’t want to sign autographs or answer questions or anything like that. She wanted to enjoy the cruise. That was it.
For a ferry that only sailed back and fourth through the waters of Unova, it was strange to her for it to have rooms, fit with beds and TVs. Elesa even got one herself without extra charge - Though, that might have had to do with her status. She didn’t exactly feel polite turning it down. After finding her room, she practically fell onto the bed, letting out a huff after she’d landed. She was exhausted, really, but she also wanted to see the sights. She would do that in just a moment.
Or, after a short nap. The ship turning around harshly caused her to roll off of her bed, a screech of alarm crawling up her throat when she fell. She landed with a thud, wincing from the pain caused by impact to a hard floor. The carpet did nothing to soften the wooden planking beneath it! After a second, she stood and brushed off her clothes. Had she… Fallen asleep? She did! She didn’t come here to sleep! She could do that at home!
The model quickly fixed herself up further before leaving her room, locating the door that lead to the deck. It looked heavy, but opening it wasn’t difficult. Wind immediately buffeted her, hand raising to block her face from the strong gusts. The wind made it rough to close the door, but it eventually slammed shut rather noisily. She could already feel her hair knotting from the gale…
"Oh…?" Elesa quickly noticed there was someone else on the deck - That alone wouldn’t have surprised her at all. No, it was the identity of this person that intrigued her. This girl, she looked familiar. Long, waving brown hair, long legs nicely fitted with dirt-covered boots… Of course she knew who this girl was. She didn’t forget challengers that put up a fight like that. She began to strut down to the edge of the boat, heels clacking against the wood.
"Well, isn’t this a surprise?" She spoke once she’d gotten within ear-shot. The model eventually reached the rim, resting her arms on the ship’s edge while cyan eyes remained focused on the trainer before her. "Touko, isn’t it? I never thought I would bump into you in a place like this." She flashed a smile. "I haven’t heard anything about you in… Two or three years now."
