"But magic... It's all too real. How can one say such things?" Morgiana felt more confusion clouding her brain than anger; she hadn't met one person in her life that didn't think magic was real.

As the boy walked off on his own, Mor turned her back and looked for heavier rocks, steadily adding them to her ankles with tough cords. After she caused a bit of destruction, she would have to make him see how real magic was, even if she had the least magical talent of her friends.

"Training for?" Morgiana seemed confused. Not many people asked her about it, even though she had a clear answer for them should they wonder. "I'm going to be strong like my friends, so I'm not a burden. I want to help them on their travels, not drag them down."

"So?  We also know each other, and it’s not like something like that would really pan out."  He’d been coming to this place for years, and as he said, situations like that rarely amounted to anything.  Sure, there were a few occasions where it did, but Kassim didn’t count those in the big scheme of things.
