Daejeon Diary #12 (4th Day at school)

tuesday, 10.06. i have to stand up everyday at 6am. there's nothing worse for me.. i don't know any feeling that's more awful than having to stand up when i wanna keep sleeping. every fucking day T_T but then in school everything's great! i gotta say i like my new homeroom class more now after that day! i got the chance to talk to a lot of them and they're all so fun! the morning got great very fast becauuuuuuse first class was german with 2nd grade yey! :D and as soon as i arrived in the classroom seungyong stood up so i can sit on his seat... gahh i miss him so much he is too kind i can't explain it!!!! here's a photo of him, it was shot on the sports day :D

but.. the lesson was... no comment. it was this awful teacher again but i'll talk about the classes some other time! but the best! started then at 2nd period! my spanish class!!! so first, the students are awesome! second, there are two female spanish teachers on the school who are from colombia *^* they were both so nice and way too great! :D and third, it felt good to learn some spanish :3 what i found pretty cool in the spanish class, instead of them talking to me in english or korean, they used spanish! it was amazing :D (amazingly bad spanish but amazing :D) when the two hours spanish ended i actually had  free time but instead just listened to the maths class. i don't wanna talk about it /yawn i was looking forward to lunch because i would eat with some friends from my old homeroom class *^* as expected, i had a wonderful time with them :D here's a random picture :D

following lunch i had german convo and THEN AGAiN 2h SPANISH (with 1st grade this time) they were parted first lesson i had with teacher sulma she was soooo cute. the students were going kinda crazy when it came out that i could speak 4 languages (tho 2 really bad T_T) and they wanted me to introduce myself in all 4 of them. i really had to blush ^_^ when they told me my korean is good ^_^ but what i found/find weird.. when they applaud when i talk in german LOL it's cute that you like my german but it's nothing special since it's my mother tongue. ha~ koreans are cute! the class was so good! but tbh the next one of even better :D i changed to the other part of the class with the teacher i had for my first two spanish lessons and.. again they wanted me to introduce myself in all languages.. (i hate it because i'm really bad at it...) yoly, the teacher, wanted to take a photo :D which she kindly sent to me through katalk~

and the guy in the middle was the best!!! he had this kinda gay-like-sounding tone and when he wanted to sit down he fell. everyone laughed and after long 10 secs he suddenly jumped up again both arms thrusted up in the air he called in the gayest (but cutest) voice one could imagine "SHOW PERFORMANCE~~~~" i couldn't calm down after that PMSL but yeah, lesson wasn't that long because one student said that one of the guys can sing really good but he refused to show, only when yoly danced salsa. well, one thing lead to another and first we had a short salsa performance and afterwards A FREAKING AMAZING VOCAL PERFORMANCE HOLY!! (i hope i get the video yoly made) oh right and then hansaem (the funny guy) showed an acting performance. i had to laugh tbh because i couldn't take him serious T__T and like that~ the lesson ended too fast. but soon the worst english class i've ever had followed. (will talk about it later) and to my convenience the last class for the day (9th) was self study!! yehet!! i talked a lot to chaewon. she told me about the B.A.P fansign and showed me the post its and told me what she talked to every member while i was just sitting there and screaming because OMFG :D also she told me that someday we have to go to a B.A.P conert together and that she can get me the best seats yooo connections xD then a girl from russian major came into the class  and told me she really wanted to talk to me once. and we had such a nice talk she has a funny personality and hah~ i told her i'll visit her the next day and say something cool in russian^_^ and the rest of the class jinhee soyun (a friend who likes exo a lot) and i showed each other exo photos we saved on our phones LOL oh and then a girl came and suddenly she said (because someone told her i like chen) "chen is MY boyfriend" LOL

Daejeon Diary #11 (about the second family)

sunday 08.06./ monday 09.06

so to start of, compared to the first family, this one is completely different. one of the main points especially is that this family loves travelling AND they have a TV LOL so on sunday after dinner we watched some running man yey! but i'll talk about everyone now:

the father seems really young and sooooo nice! until now i've only seen him on sunday, i don't know where he works or anything. i just know that he can speak a bit english (conpared to the other father) and that he's sooooo nice!! despite that there's not a lot to say about him.

the mother, well... she's the best!! LOL she also seems really young and also really chilled. she can speak a bit english, too, tho she told me that she's not that great. but we can talk (mostly) without problems in korean/english so it's all fine! and what one would least expect.. she likes kpop! her fav group is block b and she also really likes exo! (her favourite member is luhan (she said he looks so good) LOL) she watched all of exo showtime and on sunday during dinner we talked about it XD on monday when she drove jinhee and me to school she turned on overdose and asked me if i know this song. i replied with of course and we laughed xD another point why she seems so chilled is because on monday when she picked me up early from school she was watching tv and told me there's nothing fun on right now. she said they mostly watch running man on sunday and all the music programs xD (mcountdown through laptop because they don't have it in the tv) but despite all that awesomeness she ist so kind and her smile is really sincere, it has a different feel compared to the other mom tho! but both are great in their own way!

jinhee has a older brother who is some months younger than me. until now i've only seen him three times for 10min and he just said hi lol so... yeah... he is studying all the time that's why.

now to jinhee. i've already wrote a bit about her, she is soooo cute her smile is even cuter and she smiles pretty much all the time! always so cheerful and what i really like she always tries to speak german to me and asks for words and if it's right what she said. comparing, minsu just sometimes asked what this or that is called in german but that's it. tbh it's a pity because i would've loved to help her with difficulties and why not seize the opportunity? but what ever. so, especially during german convo jinhee is so cute LOL nobody tries so hard like her but she's also pretty good!!! so props to her~~ also, we didn't talk about it last week but on sunday it turned out that she's a big exo fan, not only exo kpop in general. but she talks a lot about xiumin :D when i arrived she asked if we should watch some video so yehet there we were sitting watching performances :D but especially today (tuesday) in school we talked a loopooot. she has many photos on her phone and it was just funny xD and then... we were talking about exo showtime.. a lot... the whole day... LOL

and one of the best parts: the dogs!!!! they have 4 dogs and i love them so much i'll just take em with me ok ok

oh, and their house is no joke, very untypical for koreans they don't live in an apartment but a house. a big house!!! the only thing i have a problem with is that i sleep in jinhees room, and she right next to me on the floor.. hopefully it'll get better ^_^

Daejeon Diary #10 (school again)

monday, 09.06. School again! it's great and sad at the same time. great, because i meet all those awesome people again :3 and sad, because i changed homeroom class. and tbh no class is better than 대전외국어고등학교 독일어과 2학년 Daejeon Foreign Language High School, 2nd Year German Major i can't describe how much i love this class!! even though i only spent 2 way too short days with them i love them so much and ah ;____; today i had german conversation with them during 6th and 7th period and when i went into that class it was just... like when you see a rainbow and walk up to it and on the top there's a donut with sprinkles!!!! it's so comfortable around them, and what i love so much: for me it's also so comfortable to talk korean around them! in the 1st grade german major (my homeroom class now) they mostly talk to me in english and when i say something in korean they go rather like 'woow O_OOO' or '...ok =_=' (at least it feels like it) and when i went into 2nd grade today everyone greeted me so friendly and huh i can't describe but the best thing was, of course, my seat isn't there anymore so i didn't have any chair to sit, then they told me to sit on that one chair and i said no i can't it's someone other's and they said it's ok it's just seungyong's chair. PMSL  but the cutest was he even let me sit there. ah~ i miss y old (how do you call it in english, the person which sits next to you in school please help) so the other class, of course, they're also really nice! i just don't as comfortable there as in the other T^T oh and today i asked if i could join spanish class once since i learn spanish at school! it was funny because it was a talk between the german teacher spanish teacher and me, so we talked to each other in german spanish or korean and in the end i accidently started speaking german to the spanish teacher and so on LOL but tomorrow i'll attend to spanish classes and on thursday! (unfortunately it's during 2nd grade german convo and 1st grade eng convo time; my two favorite classes but well~) oh and the funniest, during lunch time there's kinda like a big party going on in my new homeroom class. they turn on music (aka kpop lol) pretty loud and dance and sing around the classroom!! best is chaewon (the B.A.P fan) and she sings so well and together we sang bap songs :D on and she also gave me the official B.A.P whistle *_________* how did i deserve this she's so great!!! but other than that it was just the usual~^^ thanks for reading i'll try to write more interestingly for the next post but - writing so much at a time gets tiring LOL

Daejeon Diary #9 (Hanok #2 and family change)

sunday, 08.06.

tbh i didn’t thought that i could sleep that well in the hanok! i did feel the hard floor beneath me but it was okay actually! (maybe because i was so tired? idk) but i also could sleep long and i felt good in the morning :D it also wasn’t that bad in the end so… everything went better than expected! b”d

in the morning they brought the usual stuff (btw, the mom bought 10kg oranges from jeju and 10kg blueberries from somewhere other in korea so i mostly ate oranges and blueberrie that week LOL) oranges blueberries, they bought mild again LOL, and apples. but i don’t explain it’s yummy so~ we watched tv for a short while until we already left the hanok village (i’ll miss you ;__;)

minsu jungmin and i spent afterwards 1 or 2 hours in the city in daejeon eating, going around, hearing exo’s overdose again from everywhere LOL, and eating patbingsu~ yey~

and soon the moment came, when i changed family. is it weird… when i said bye to that family i got tears in my eyes… i was too enotional… i am too enotional idk.. but i was thinking about how they told me to visit them when i’m in korea. and another day they asked me if i’ll be able to find their home alone.. and they did so much for me! sometimes it might’ve been too much being babyssitted 24/7 but in the end… it was great!! i didn’t want to leave them sobsob

and unfortunately i had a bad day that day.. the new family is great!!! really!!! but on that day.. i didn’t want anything and kinda also just wanted to finally go home.. so now my soft side shows T__T maybe one of the main points of that day was that i was exhausted, and again didn’t have a lot of free time and then when i arrived at the family, an i was shown my room.. well… it’s jinhee’s room and she sleeps on the floor next to me so byebye privacy

but let’s stop with that babywhinythingy!!! i will talk about the family in a extra post (and i tell you it will be a great one /whispers/ the mom likes exo) so~~ i’m sorry for babywhinythings and thanks for reading LOL

Daejeon Diary #8 (Gongju: Hanok Village & fortress; playing with kids yey :D)

saturday, 07.06. today i had a niiiice and long sleep ^_^ then at 1 o'clock minsu and i went to kinda like an orphanage. she (and other highschool students) go there once a week for two hours. it was a small apartment, and after some time more and more children arrived. in total there were 7? i think.. there was this little boy, maybe 6 years old, and at first he was really rude >_< for example he didn't even properly greet me and all that.. well i am a foreigner.. but it turned out to be that he really liked me (the other kids said that lol) it was cute how he called me jenny noona and he was always by myside, it got a bit too close and too long tho.. but anyway, first we cleaned the windows on the balcony, it took for 4 of us so long it was SO dirty and there were so many.... and quickly one hour was over. now we played with the kids. they were all soooooooooooo cute. they taught me korean clap games (i mean those were two people clap their hands in different ways and sing to it) or then gave me stuffed animals and asked like "what is your name" lol so cute. or we also played mok-jji-bba, it's a variation of kai bai bo (stone paper scissors) it was funny but, got a bit tiring, especially with the korean, i also didn't always understand them, but we played a lot and had fun it was great. but the awfullest part was when the woman asked me to sing a song and teach it to the children. lol it was so awkward. then i had to write down the lyrics in hangeul (korean alphabet) and also translate it into korean... that was SUCH a big fail XD (oh and for the germans, i chose alle meine entchen LOL) even though it was fun, i was relieved when we finally left ^_^ (but i'll still miss little korean kids calling me jenny noona and jenny eonnie tho :D so cute!) after a short while at home we already left again to stay in a hanok overnight! in gongju. during the ride we stopped somewhere in the middle of nowhere to eat at a restaurant and guess what!!!! 짜짱면 jjajjangmyeon!!!!!! i've wanted to eat this SO BAD for such a long time! finally the day had come! and i'll tell you what, this.... was NOT what i had expected.. THIS WAS EVEN BETTER!! LOL (excited jenny is excited) then, finally we arrived at the hanok village and *^* [click here for pictures] wow just wow. if you're in korea make sure to visit a hanok village once! it seemed like we had... the best house that was there? because a really famous korean actor (which i don't know lol) was also in the exact same house and... i don't know but i don't think that there's normally a big flat screen tv??? but tbh... at first i was worried a lot because... i didn't really want to share such a small house with a family i barely know. and a room with 2 girls... because to me such things are really personal and intimate >_< so on the one hand i was sooooo excited! but on the other i didn't really wanted to.. but there was no time to worry about it because we were already moving on to the next trip LOL it was already dark and we went to a not really castle like.. umm more fortress like old.. thing.. lol (ok english where are you going dont leave me) it was a long wall, every 50m or so where flags along the wall and the hill located there, along the wall and behind made it even better!! and the night atmosphere!! [click here for pictures] as you can see on the pictures we walked along the wall up the hill and *^* i loved it so much. the gloomy mood from earlier was now all gone! all i was thinking about now was this beautiful night scenery of gongju and the fortress and the lights an the flags and.. the forest. yeah there was this -not so big but still- forest where we walked through. even tho i had 4 other people with me i felt a creepy shiver running down my spine, and it was awesome! :D (i love the feeling of being scared when for example watching a horror movie or going at night through a forest lOL) and it was so funny, so the parents made a photo together and i don't know why but i suddenly had the kwiyomi song in my head so i started singing, and jungmin and i talked a bit about it when suddenly the mom came over and suddenly DID the kwiyomi song thingy LOL that was SO cute! :D sooo after a while we went to the car again and then got ourselves some fried chicken to wat at the hanok. it was so delicous and also quite comfortable and nice sitting with the family in the hanok and eating, actually. they then even gave me a present!!!! what?? why!!?? i didn't know how i could accept it, like they did so much for me and now a present.... but it is really beautiful! it's a small box where i can put jewelry and the box is just beautiful with bling bling and lots of colors and just ahh~~ after dinner the dad turned on the tv and well he said something like 'let's watch kpop' LOL weekly idol was on the tv so we watched it xD tbh i planned to sleep at maybe 22-23 but how did i even think this could happen? Daejeon Diary #7 (Seoul Trip)

friday, 07.06. there was no school (again) today because of memorial day. and the (way too nice) father planned a trip to seoul today! it couldn't have been better!!! we left at about 10am but because of traffic jam it took us about 3h to get to seoul. oh and we also had two stops, during one we ate a bit, like 떡볶이 ddeokbokki, 감자 potatoes and 닭꼬치 chicken sticks it was delicious like always :3 (it reminded me a bit of 5th exo showtime ep LOL) finally arriving in seoul we first went to 창덕궁 Changdeok palace and there also had a guided tour through 후원. and let me tell you: that is the most beautifullellellest thing i've ever seen!!!!!! [click here for pictures] it was really annoying though because there were soooooo many people T___T it was hard to take pictures without any person on it... then we looked a bit through the rest of the palace [some pics] and -as always- they wanted me take photos of me in front of different things and houses OTL afterwards we went eating. i tried 냉면 naengmyeon for the first time and felt like throwing up LOL we were walking around the district there, not knowing where we are, also looking through some cute shops, after a while we finally arrived at 북천 Bukcheon (for those who watched Exo Showtime, they also went there LOL) again they were too many people T___T but it was beautiful nevertheless, especially how one can see the Namsan Tower from the top *^* [click here for pictures] though there wasn't a lot to do i really liked it. the houses are beautiful and the scenery when standing on the hill as well~ (i feel sorry for the people who live there lol)(with all the tourists going there) then we went to 인사동 mostly spending the time in such a beautiful mall [click here for pictures] and it's really funny because it doesn't matter where i go i always here Exo's Overdose LOL because it was already late i thought we would leave again, but how could i even think that... nope.... we drove to one of the biggest bookstores in korea, there was also a cd shop and... minsu bought me there B.A.P's Daebak Sageon LOL (i just said that's the only album i don't have... and suddenly...) short after, because it was right outside we went to the big statue of Sejong (Exo was also there LOL) [click here for pictures] we were lucky because the lights turned of at 10pm and we were there like 9.50pm :D it was such a. great feeling to see it live *^* and what i found also really awesome is the subway station there. there are no stairs but just a small hill and then you immediately see the statue. but that was still not the end of the trip LOL the last station of the trip was 청계천 cheonggyecheon, the streams within seoul. it was so beautiful at night*^* but you can't see it a lot on the pictures but ok [click here] we just sat there enjoyed the atmosphere, and minsu left to get something to eat. jungmin and i had some bonding time again lol it was really nice! we went up and ate with the parents at a table. and it's funny because somehow the parents kinda think all i drink is milk so they buy me so much milk LOL oh and also! you can see on the pictures the yellow ribons, if anyone doesn't know, it's because of sewol, the ship accident in korea where a lot of people died, also a lot of students. you can still feel the pain, for example also minsu's mom talked to me about it, it is even more painful seeing the yellow ribons and ugh... but it was nice because the people wrote small messages on there, lots of foreigners as well. i felt like crying ;___; so anyway, at 23.30 we left LOL i was SO tired but it was a great day, i didn't even want to leave seoul! T^T
