As this post details, I’m currently in litigation with my college due to unauthorized transactions that have sent my bank account and credit card into overdraft. Sadly, all legal procedures are incredibly slow. It’s likely I won’t see a resolution for up to a year.

I’m a certified medical and legal Spanish interpreter and translator, and I rely on PayPal to be paid for my services. Because my PayPal is currently in the negatives due to the above litigation, I’m at high risk for homelessness.

I work full-time in addition to interpreting/translation, but all of that money is being diverted towards legal fees and keeping myself fed; my food stamps are only $47 due to my income.
