Anyone ever look back on your life and the things people picked on you for and wonder what was going through their minds to make them believe something so stupid made them somehow superior to you (owning an iphone, having more money, not having allergies, etc.)?...

Like, I went to a school for kids with learning disabilities a long time ago, and even there, despite the school helping us acknowledge "everyone is different and that's okay", people still got picked on for stupid reasons.

Like me! I got picked on for simply being a shameless tomboy and "more disabled" than the small group picking on me. I had been diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD, just like 95% of the school, on top of a slew of other things. I also spoke my mind, told the truth, followed the rules to a T, got along pretty well with most people, was really good at math, science, music, and sports, and I was always drawing. Always.

Apparently they didn't like any of that for whatever reason and I find it so fascinating yet puzzling. 🤔
