i love kagurabachi and how part i ended but if there's one thing i cant get behind, it's how yura reacted after knowing that the sword master was 100% lucid and released malediction with the very intention to kill thousands of lives.... why the sudden pivot? from yura using hishaku to dismantle the kamunabi for protecting the so called "heroes" and planning to assassinate akemura that actually killed innocents during the war to suddenly wanting akemura to champion bringing order to japan along with the magatsumi ..... it didn't make sense???? did i miss something?

the only conclusion i can gather from it is that it really wasn't yura talking and whatever was spewing from his mouth is actually more rationalization from akemura because of all the horrors he did at war (like the curse samura was talking about? turns out it's absolute denial and extreme course-correcting because how else is akemura gonna mentally convince himself that what he did was right? that he fought for the good guys?) because from what i gathered, yura is already connected to the magatsumi and akemura's immense spiritual energy embedded into the enchanted blade gave him the ability to kinda possess yura at times???? ..... i mean that's the only thing that would make sense to me ????? idk i think i need to reread

The way I see it is that Yura's absolute main goal is to make Japan a safe place / eradicate all that is actively harming it, like all the sorcerer clans and gangs. All based on his flashback.

With the initial thought that Sword Saint has gotten insane, he is the most dangerous person to Japan, as he could potentially destroy every Japanese person alongside everyone else on planet Earth (The "Malediction" he mentioned to Seiichi Samura). As he is revealed to have done it from a sound mind however, that shifts everything, as Sword Saint is clear on only eradicating those he deems as evil and harmful for Japan. In that sense, their goals align.
