Burgerland! Drive to Lincoln, Arkansas and eat at Burgerland. This small establishment right on Hwy 62 in Lincoln is worth the drive from anywhere in Northwest, Arkansas.
So far we have had the Burger and bacon cheese burger - large, quality meat, not greasy, with a perfectly griddled bun.
The foot long coney, with chili cheese and onions, was great. That hot dog is all beef and all hearty. I bet it is the best kept secret on the menu. If you like chili dogs then this is the one to eat in Northwest Arkansas! The bun is also griddled to perfection.
The fried chicken and mashed potatoes were better than Neal's Cafe in Springdale, AR (and that is saying a lot!)
The Onion rings and tater tots are really the lightest, best tasting I've ever had. They must change their frying oil daily. Fresh, hot and tasty!
Recently three of us walked out of there totally stuffed for $21. Best value and quality in Northwest Arkansas.

Saturday morning the Fayetteville Farmers Market was buzzing with people and 5 food trucks ready for the challenge.
This is the Pop-A-Waffle truck. I ate waffles and chicken, and it was delicious. They also served Strawberry poptart waffles (using poptarts was part of their challenge)

Saturday morning the Fayetteville Farmers Market was buzzing with people and 5 food trucks ready for the challenge. This is a series of shots from Momma's Grizzly Grub truck. They knocked over a light pole. You can see Mayor Lioneld Jordan (blue shirt and hat) talking to the truck owner as she sweeps up the broken glass with the giant light pole laying in front of them.

Brayton was one of the first potters to be licensed by Disney, creating Disney figurines until about 1941. The "Purple Cow Family" is the most sought after set for collectors. I have seen these pelicans only twice online (or anywhere else for that matter).

Mission Beverages Orange soft drink was so successful that in 1933 they formed The Mission Dry Corporation.
By the 1950’s they had become Mission of California, Inc. They manufactured soft drinks from about 1929 to 1970.

I got this framed print for $4.75 at a thrift store. Just found it interesting and knew nothing of the cartoonist... But what a find. He was involved in one of the biggest editorial cartoon plagiarism scandals in history.
David Simpson was editorial cartoonist for the Tulsa Tribune from 1971-92 and Tulsa World from 1992-2005. He was a 2005 inductee in the Oklahoma Cartoonists Fame.
He was let go from The Tulsa World in 2005 after it was pointed out that he had blatantly redrew a 1981 editorial cartoon by Bob Englehart of the The Hartford Courant.
The Toy & Action Figure Museum has retracted Simpson’s 2005 induction into the Oklahoma Cartoonists Hall of Fame.
According to Wikipedia: "On October 25th, 2011, The Daily Cartoonist released an article announcing that Urban Tulsa cartoonist David Simpson had been accused of plagiarizing the work of Jeff MacNelly. Further investigation on the part of This Land Press revealed that Simpson had plagiarized other works in at least five other instances, making this one of the biggest cartoon plagiarism scandals of all-time.
