     he comes out of nowhere. SURPRISES her, even. it’s probably all that keeps her from outright attacking him. and if only she had, because now he wants to talk, and she’s too CURIOUS to simply leave. still, melinda puts on an air of contemplation as she faces the flash, head tilted and lips pursed. ‘ and how do i know this isn’t some TRAP? ’ no point in pretending he doesn’t know who she is ; if he’s there, it’s because he KNOWS.  ‘ give me ONE good reason why i should trust you, flash, and maybe we can talk. ’  

     “ it’s not a trap. i’m a man of my word. but if we don’t talk, something horrible is about to happen. something i know is the last thing you could ever want. “ after all, hope was her best friend, right? barry lets out a sigh, trying to think of something. anything. one good reason why she should trust him, it's all he needs. and in that moment, he knows exactly what it is. she could never truly trust him if he's holding back the biggest secret of all━ his identity. he looks around to make sure no one is in sight for the reveal, hand reaching to shut off the communication device between him and s.t.a.r. labs. because he knows what they would say. what are you crazy? you can't tell a villain your secret identity !! still, his fingers work to pull up the mask, until it's over his head and showing his entire face.       wally SWORE to himself that he wouldn’t interfere in the life of those on this earth. he’s been around for two years now, existing in a universe that isn’t his, seeing a barry and iris who isn’t HIS.  there wasn’t even a point to being KID FLASH !! no justice league, none of his TEAMMATES were his teammates. this worlds uncle barry didn’t even have speed. so he settled for blending in the background, opting for a new identity and attending community college in CENTRAL CITY. there was a moment though that changed all that, a moment where wally had to help his hero the FLASH. the second he saw that lightning strike he knew who was one of the intended targets and what was happening. it took a lot of convincing with the star labs and his aunt and technically his grandpa of this earth of WHO this wally was, what he’s been through and what knowledge he possessed. of course he opted for A LOT of information from them, he really shouldn’t pull at BART at a moment like this !! he then waited nine montts by barry’s side, monitoring his recovery and making sure his metabolism was up enough so his body could HEAL, waiting for his moment  to talk to barry, to see him for the first time with his powers !! to see the FLASH born, the hero that drove him to be his own kind of hero that saved his own earth.

 so yeah, he’s aware how crazy he sounds and wally hasn’t even gotten STARTED on the alien invasion that caused his unexpected travel to this earth and all the trails he had to go through in life. his smile never falters though in typically wally fashion, how could it right now ??  it was barry allen, not HIS uncle barry but a barry that could be his barry on this earth. ❝ think about it barry, do you think IRIS or joe would let someone with a bunch of bullshit get this close to you after everything that’s happened to you ?? your mind is trying to catch up with your SPEED !! i-i shouldn’t have started off with so much to pile on you. i shouldn’t CRASH THE MODE. ❞ where was batman when you needed him !! a deep breath, emotions were running wild and no time could prepare wally for this, he just had to prevent himself from starting to speak in SUPER SPEED. also he shouldn’t pull the uncle card anymore especially since barry and iris weren’t BARRY AND IRIS yet. ❝ becoming a speedster barry, a HERO, it’s your DESTINY. and i think i died in my earth to help you with that. my name is wally by the way, wally west. i’m a speedster like you. ❞

        he’s trying so hard to wrap his head around all of this. he’s always been the one to believe in science. it’s who he was━ the nerd. the lover of all things science. he’s even been the one to believe in the unbelievable━ the impossible. but every word this guy was saying just seemed almost too impossible. like they were all playing a trick on him. maybe worse━ maybe they kidnapped him and none of this was true. oh god, was he gonna die here?         for starters, he was an only child. no actual siblings ( maybe if his parents had more time, things would be different ). so there was no way this kid was his nephew. it just wasn’t possible. the funniest part was that that information was small in comparison to everything else he’s being told. “ how do you know iris, or━ or joe? how do you know them? are you━ have you been stalking me? “ he asks frantically, trying to piece things together in his mind. but nothing is making sense, still. “ a hero━ what the hell are you talking about? “        his heart races a little too fast to keep in time with the added stress and he stands up to make a run for it. but cisco is quick to sit him back down on the bed. hands go up to make everyone keep their distance from him, accidentally knocking caitlin back as she was trying to exam the newly awoken coma patient. “ sorry. “ he mumbles a quiet apology before looking back over at wally.        “ i don’t know who you think you are, but i don’t know you. you━ you’re not my nephew. i don’t even have a brother, or sister! “ unless he was counting iris, who he had a mega crush on. so no, he wasn’t really. “ i’m no hero. and i’m not a━ a speedster. i don’t even know what that is! maybe you should be the one to get checked out. because i’m fine. i feel fine, great even. i just wanna get out of here. “ wait━ had he just said he’s dead?
