I can finally share the cover I did for the new Frederick Durand book, for the inside I drew a couple of ink sketches. A nice little “québécois” slasher story ! Available @ La Maison des viscères! 🤘(book is currently only available in french) Il est bientôt là, le nouveau roman de Frédérick Durand: Quinze croix pour le lys rouge. 24 juin 1991. Un groupe de fêtards se réunit dans un chalet pour célébrer la Saint-Jean-Baptiste. Bière américaine en main et musique anglophone dans les oreilles, les invités disparaissent les uns après les autres. Leur absence de fierté nationale a éveillé la colère d’un meurtrier revanchard. Armé d’objets symboliques, il exécutera ces traitres qui bafouent leurs racines. Dans Quinze croix pour le lys rouge, Frédérick Durand met à profit son érudition horrifique dans un hommage au slasher, ce genre qui nous a donné des classiques comme Halloween, Vendredi 13 ou Noël tragique.
