Matching set + Drew Chloe dupe
Lust Floral Print Camisole (size small) | Lush Print Mini Skirt (size small) | Steve Madden Tasssal sandals | Chloe Drew Dupe | Starshooter ring | Sunglasses, similar here |
Matching set's have been popping up at all of my favorite retailer's this spring/summer, which means that being matchy-matchy is back. I'm totally not complaining though, because I happen to love matching sets. This set in particular stood out to me immediately because of the fun print. I love how it has the slightest pop of color, and the cut is very flattering on my petite frame.
Lastly, I paired my favorite Chloe dupe, with some tassel sandals (that just so happen to be on sale right meow). Speaking of dupes, if you're not sold on buying the real deal or just not quite ready to drop the big bucks, dupes are a great way to try out the style and see how often you'll actually use it before investing. Also, neutral pieces get the most use, so go for black or a nude color. Well guys, that's my two cents, hope you have a fabulous weekend!

How to wear distressed denim shorts
Bell sleeve top | Distressed denim shorts (I rolled mine up) | Rebecca Minkoff studded sandals (on sale!) | Starshooter ring | Hermes bangle (dupe here) | Milano 6 Stone Bangle
One of my favorite combinations for summer is a flowy top paired with distressed denim. I'm especially fond of this bell sleeve darling because it's super light weight, and despite the long sleeves very cool. It was actually over 95 the day we took these photos, and I was surprised by how comfortable this top was.
One thing I always struggle to find every summer is a perfect pair of denim shorts. I'm very picky about the fit and I usually order about 5 pairs (and return them) before I get it right. These were an instant heck-yes! I love the over distressed look of these and how they are just the right length. They were a total splurge at $150, but well worth it. I'll also be linking a few budget friendly options below, so be sure to scroll and check them out! Also, if you love my sandals, they are currently marked down, so it's a win, win situation!

Retro floral mini dress
FP One Lucina dress size small | {C/O} Krysta Platform sandal | York buckle tote | Milano 6 stone bangle | Hermes bangle (dupe here) | Starshooter ring |
Floral prints are near and dear to my heart during spring and summer. They are playful and girlie, so I guess they are just like me! So naturally when I spotted this retro floral printed dress (on sale), the rest was history. I love the movement and how you can adjust the tie's at the shoulder for a perfect fit. This dress is just too fun ladies!
Anytime I flaunt prints, I try to keep my accessories to a minimum so I don't overwhelm my look. So I paired my favorite cognac tote (I carry this tote A LOT) and my new platform loves. These platforms have to be the most comfortable shoes I own. Not kidding guys, they are fantastic! I wore them to a shopping event I hosted at the Style and Trend store at the Golden Nugget over the weekend, and my feet were fine even with standing all day. Not to mention, the neutral color goes with everything, so they are total winners!

High waisted pant
River Island soft tapered pant (wearing a US4) | White camisole | Hermes bangle (Dupe here for $5) | 6 Stone Milano bangle | Kendra Scott ring | Starshooter ring | Chole drew dupe (excellent quality) | Tassel earrings (very lightweight) | Steve Madden Stecy heels
Raise your hand if you into trends that make your legs look longer, and waistline look tiny? Well I have both of my hands up! Hello, this girl is only 5'2 (well, all-most 5'3 to be persist) so anything that can help with the short leg problem, I'm all about it.
Higher waistlines translate to longer looking legs. So naturally these caught my attention at first glance. Not to mention, I haven't purchased anything in the color mustard in a while, so let's just say, my closet was overdue. LOL! Admittedly I was concerned that the material would wrinkle easily, but these are totally fine. Also, I just really love the brand River Island, if you've never shopped there before you should check them out! They have a great mix of trendy and classic styles.
Lastly, I am linking a few dupes for you guys below so be sure to check them out. My Drew Chloe dupe I've had for about two years now and it still looks excellent. Plus it's only $50! (!!!) I'm also linking a dupe for my white Hermes bangle! Hope you enjoyed this post and happy weekend!

Watercolor skirt
{C/O} Chicwish watercolor skirt (also love available in violet) | BOBI white scoop neck tank | Kate Spade Cedar Street small Hyden | Arturo Chiang studded sandals | Milano 6 Stone bangle
It's definitely not a secret that maxi skirt's are one of summer's most comfortable trends. They are easy to throw on and look great with a simple white tank. I picked this one up a few weeks ago from Chicwish and I'm so happy I did! The material is very sheer and light weight (perfect for the summer high temps) not to mention, the length is great for even my petite frame. Usually I have to alter my maxi dresses and skirt's because they are too long, so it was nice to not have to wait to get it back from alterations!
I wore this look over the weekend to a Pop Shop Houston festival, and it could not have been more comfortable! I felt very boho-chic the whole day, and got a ton of complements. Alex even commented and said he liked it, so it must be a winner! Haha! It's also available in a few other colors and I'll be linking them below. Thanks for stopping by!

Palm Tree printed dress
Krysta Platform Sandal | {C/O} Ellery Red palm tree printed cut out shift dress (size small) | Reversible tote | Julie Vos 6 Stone Milano Bangle | Starshooter ring | Kendra Scott ring
Things are definitely heating up here in Houston, and I'm not complaining because that means all the fun prints can come out to play! Injecting your summer wardrobe with fresh prints can really bring the heat to whatever festivity you have planned. So don't think you can only wear them on an island or that summer getaway you have planned, wear them ANYWHERE because it's summer! I wanted to show you in today's look, how versatile this palm printed cutie can be. Because the print is bright and fun, it can easily mix into your daytime wardrobe when keeping your accessories neutral. I paired it with my new f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e platform sandals, that are the perfect height AND they are super comfortable. I wore them all day and my feet were A-ok! Which means I wear them a lot because I'm all about comfy heels! Not to mention, the neutral color goes with everything, so they are just all around rock stars in my book. Thank you for reading! This post was brought to you through a collaboration with Goodnight Macaroon, all opinions and selections are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make Flaunt and Center possible.

Rose lace skirt...
{C/O} Chic wish rose lace skirt | V neck camisole | Stecy Steve Madden sandal | Claire V. leopard clutch | Milano 6 stone bangle | Starshooter Ring Even though you'll rarely catch me in a skirt, a pencil one at that, this one was too pretty to pass up. I love the famine flare lace has and how pretty it makes you feel wearing it. Also, the soft rose color is perfect for any upcoming weddings or bridal showers you'll be attending this season. Lastly, I grabbed for my handy leopard clutch, that always adds the right amount of sass to any look. I even found a few dupes for my Claire V foldover and I'll be linking them below, so be sure to scroll and check them out! Today's outfit:

Embracing stripes
J Brand white skinny jeans | {C/O} Striped off the shoulder top | Stecy sandal | Pink Robinson small tote | Nakamol Jennifer ring, Similar here and here | Sunnies | 6 Stone Milano Julie Vos bangle
Lately, I've been trying to stock my wardrobe with basic pieces that I can wear over and over again, even for years to come. Which has been really hard because I'm a trendy kinda gal at heart. So finding pieces that play both roles can be let's say... a little tricky.
However, this top definitely steps up to the plate and tackles both trendy and classic. Hello, stripes have been around forever and will NEVER die, lets be real. Best of all, off the shoulder style's only get more popular as time goes on, so this one's a keeper. Another thing I really love about this top is the bow details at the sleeve and how light weight the material is. It runs slightly small, so be sure to size up. I'm wearing a medium, and I really like the fit. Thanks for stopping by!

Striped dress
Florence shirtdress (Similar here and here) | Kate Spade Hayden satchel | Steve Madden Stecy heel | Starshooter ring | Crystal Mason ring |
So as you may already know, I've been a little obsessed with stripes lately, remember this post? Now combine stripes with a shirtdress and I'm one happy camper! I decided this dress was a winner for two reasons. One being that it's stripes are going in the right direction, which helps you to look taller and thinner. Two being that the tie around the waist helps your waistline look smaller. Major double score! This dress is my first purchase from the new line Cupcakes and Cashmere (found at the trend section via Nordstrom). If you're not familiar with the line, it's by Emily Schuman who started out as a blogger like me! Her line is pretty much amazing, and I'm currently eyeing this printed dress and this romper. Also, I'll be linking some more striped dresses below since this one is low in stock. This post was brought to you through a collaboration with Nordstrom. All opinions and selections are my own.

Tassel party
Tassel party triangle scarf | White low rise crop skinny jean | York buckle tote | Double strap v neck camisole | Marc Fisher Adalyn wedge | BDG square buckle belt | Starshooter ring | Sunglasses |
One of my favorite things to wear, no matter what time of the year, is in fact a scarf. Because just like our clothing, the material gets lighter in the warmer months making them the perfect summer accessory! Not to mention, scarves are pretty much the chameleon in your wardrobe. You can wear them as bag accessories... heck you can even wear them wrapped around your head! But we aren't going there today, don't worry.
One of the things that really drove me to buy this scarf in particular, were the tassels. You guessed it. Tassels are a hot commodity this summer and I'm all about it. Besides, this scarf had me at introduction, because with a name like Tassel Party, who can resist? Each tassel is so bright and fun that even though it's a layered look, it still has a fresh summer vibe, which I love.
In other news, who else is super excited to be stepping into the weekend? Tonight I'll be attending a Cadillac/fashion show event so be sure to follow along on snapchat (FlauntandCenter)! Other than that I'm planning on having a laid back weekend. Fingers crossed the rain will STOP!

Pop of pink
Lea ruffle top | Concorde full skirt | Cedar Street small Hayden leather satchel | Stecy Steve Madden Sandal | Milano 6 stone bangle | Starshooter ring | Crystal Mason ring
Oh pop of color, how I've missed you. As women, we tend to play it safe in the handbag department. We have plenty of neutral handbags that will work for just about any outfit, neglecting what we really want... bold colors! When I saw this bag ON SALE, I knew I had to have it. Summertime is all about standing out and a pretty pink bag definitely does just that! Stepping out of my 'safe zone' I realized this bag goes with so many different looks, in fact it goes with almost EVERYTHING. I can't wait to start incorporating into more of my looks, it's such a game changer! Accessories can be a fun way to spice up an otherwise boring outfit. But who said this outfit was boring? This ruffle top is seriously the best thing since GOT. Ok maybe not GOT because that would just be crazy talk, but it's a close second. Combine stripes and ruffles and this girl is sold. No questions asked. Happy hump-day!

Printed shift dress
Dress: {C/O} Goodnight Macaroon (size small) | Robinson small zip tote | 'Emalena' heels | Starshooter ring | Crystal Mason Ring | Milano 6 Stone Bangle (sold separately) | Sunglasses | Watch: Kate Spade
There's nothing like a classic shift dress to start the week off right. The material on this little darling is super light, making it quite possibly one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever owned. Not to mention the fun print puts a little extra pep in my step, so eat your face off Wednesday!
A dress this comfortable and forgiving only comes around ever so often, and with a price tag of under $80, what are you waiting for? You can even eat that extra taco because trust me, this dress won't tell anyone! And who doesn't love taco's?
Lastly, I paired a little blush tote, that I seemingly forgot about for six whole months! It was tucked away in the back of my closet, and I was so giddy when I stumbled upon it again! Now if only I could come across a Chanel bag back there??? That would be life changing!

Wardrobe basics
Pink stripe button down (wearing a petite small) | Low Rise Crop Skinny jean (OBSESSED!! True to size, wearing a 26) | Marc Fisher Adalyn Suede Wedge | Tory Burch York Buckle Tote | Starshooter Ring | 6-Stone Milano Bangle | Kate Spade watch | Ray-Bans
When building your wardrobe, there are a few rules to always follow and keep in mind. First, you can never go wrong investing in basics. The main reason being that you can keep them for a lifetime and wear them over and over again. Ever heard of that saying, "Never be caught without something to wear again?" No matter the size of your closet, having a solid foundation for your wardrobe makes life, and getting ready only that much easier.
Speaking of basics, one of my favorite stores to shop when I'm looking for timeless pieces is J. Crew. No, this is not a sponsored post, I just love the brand for too many reasons to list. Recently, I came across this striped darling and immediately clicked, "Add to cart." Which happens to be 25% off with the code SUMMER right now! I decided to tie the bottom in a knot for a summer vibe, but it looks really cute tucked out also.
Lastly, I paired my new favorite jeans that I'm o-b-s-e-s-s-e-d with currently. If you don't own a pair of distressed white skinny jeans for spring this year, what are you waiting for?! I especially love the low rise fit of these and how they are a true skinny jean. They give off a slimming effect that is out of this world good, and what girl doesn't want slimmer looking legs? My favorite summer dress
Cheek Chiffon Lilou Printed Dress (on SALE FOR 1/2 OFF!!) Wearing a size small | Tory Burch York Buckle Tote | Wedge by Sole Society but currently sold out, identical here also just got these | Starshooter Ring | Astrid knotted tassel earrings | Julie Vos 6 Stone Milano Bangle
Well girls, I found my favorite dress for summer.
I've probably worn it more than I should admit over the past week! But what the heck we are all friends here so I know no-one is judging, and besides we've all been there. Because when you find that dress that works for seriously so many occasions, you'll grab for it over and over again. What I love most about this dress is how versatile it can be, dress it down in the daytime with wedges and a tote, or dress it up with heels for a night out. Trust me, you can't go wrong!
Aside from this killer dress that I can't seem to go without lately, I'm really into the fringe earring trend! Seriously, I can't stop buying them in all colors! I especially like the ones I'm wearing today because they are s-u-p-e-r lightweight. I can't wear heavy earrings so it's been hard finding ones that don't make my lobes hurt! Side note, I found these little gadgets that really help if your like me and are limited in the heavy earring department, try them out!

Floral print romper
Leith 'Flutter' floral print romper | York Tory Burch buckle tote | Sandals: Sold out but identical here and here | Blue jean jacket | Starshooter ring | Ray-Ban Aviators 58
Rompers are one of my favorite things to wear in the summer. They are effortlessly fun and work well in the warmer temps. Admittedly it can be difficult to find one that fits how you would like, but that's why you have me... so I can do all the dirty work for you!
I found this floral cutie in the trend section at Nordstrom, and I'm one smitten kitten with the tie back detail! Plus it fits more like a dress than a romper, so you don't have to worry about it riding up awkwardly or the shorts being too tight. Trust me when you find a romper that fits this well, you pull the trigger! Not to mention the price point is just right at under $80.
This post was brought to you through a collaboration with Nordstrom. All opinions and selections are my own.
