      Klee hopped with such excitement! A piggyback ride with Kaeya? How could she say no? She took a few steps back first to get a head start before running up to him. A big ol’ hop as she wrapped her arms around him. Her little legs trying to hold onto his torso too, just enough strength for her to hold onto him on her own. Unless he helps her a bit, otherwise she will be strong! Hopefully she isn’t too heavy--she doesn’t want to get rid of her backpack.

      She feels terrible. Little Klee is far too late to wish Kaeya happy birthday. She hasn’t even prepared a present of sort for him. Her firework project isn’t close to done.

“Well… sort of. Everythin’ is a bit blurry but after a bit of some…” he paused, gaze drifting a bit as he thought of the right words. “…Rough starts, we decided to move out to the middle ‘o nowhere to get a fresh start. I used to be a good fighter and loved beatin’ down anyone who wanted a good duel but… I don’t do that anymore.”

Spoiler could feel that Rip was watching him measure out the words. His brother knew the topic of what they used to do was sensitive and only seemed to upset the cyborg every time it was brought up. Some things were better left buried if they could help it.

“So, tell me about this place, Klee. I’ve been around for a while but I don’t think I’ve ever seen someplace like this before outside ‘o story books.” He tried to change the subject to something a little lighter and enjoy this time in some place new.

      “Ooooh..Well, Mondstadt is pretty nice! You can even sign up as an Adventurer if you wanna help out the people here." She turned around, leading the way properly now that she isn’t walking backwards. “This is a place of freedom! Barbatos is a nice god--I pray to him to have his winds guide my bombs to defeat the bad guys. The people here are nice--and we can help you find a place to stay if you’d like! We can play all the time. Unless you have to go somewhere..then you gotta visit whenever you can! Okay?” She said as she hopped back around. Looking up at him while walking backwards again.

      They finally reach the lake she had mentioned a while ago. But the girl had been walking backwards at this point, tripping into the water. Least she didn’t slip all the way in, looking over at the lake before getting back up. “We made it!”

      She wasn’t at all bothered by her wet shorts, no she was too excited at this point. The little knight didn’t hesitate one bit as she tossed her bomb into the water. Stepping back and holding the other’s metallic hand to back up further with her. “Be careful--we’re definitely gonna get some good fish!”

“So…” Shintaro pulls a drawer from the file cabinet open and drops an unusually thick folder on the desk.

“You’re the Spark Knight I’ve spent hours filing incident reports on. I thought blowing up the Stormbearer Mountains would be the end, but noooo…”

      She swayed her legs that were dangled off the chair. Shuffling a bit in her seat, as if she was in big trouble. Well--when isn’t she? Klee pouted softly with a finger poked gently against her cheek, pushing it up slightly as a way to look cute. It never works but she will do it anyway. “Hm..it isn’t on purpose, I swear. It just happens.”

Seeing Klee’s expression change made Leo frown a bit. Glancing back at the thing he’d drawn, he tried to rack his mind to find where he’d seen it before but kept drawing a blank at every turn. His dreams maybe? 

“I dunno, it just sorta popped into my ‘ead. Maybe it’s a fairytale monster or somethin’ that I ‘eard of.” The boy tapped his head with the marker as he thought. “At least it’s extra spooky though, eh?”

      It’s something even the adults here hasn’t really seen before. It’s certainly terrifying, he did a great job on that. But one can’t help but wonder on it’s origin. Probably would worry heavily for the little one if this is what he drew--especially if he himself can’t recall where he’s seen this. But right now, Klee is just impressed that he drew something that scary. There’s always the chance that he’s just talented in the scary aspects of things after all. Well, it’s more so that she’s low key hoping that it is just a creative thing he’s made rather than a sinister meaning or origin behind it. “Yeah, maybe you heard the story of it once..I’ve never seen anything like that though.”

      “Yeah! Let’s get started!” She clapped and hopped about with such joy. All the unease and fear left immediately as the thought of carving this out came to light. She went ahead and gave him the tools pointing at the eye with her own, “I’ll go ahead and do the eye. You can do the smile! I’ll do my very best on it!”

      She got pretty excited as soon as he picked up the marker. Huddling on over to him, all close ‘n such as she watches him draw. She’s pretty silent at least, but she’s a little too close at times. It’s just Klee’s excitement if anything, not really the shyest child in Mondstadt.

      The more he drew the face out, the more she backed up a bit. Man, that could scare even the chief of the Hilichurls! Heck, it might even scare Devlin and Barbatos! Though, if that’s the case, then this is the perfect scary face! Right? One that she’s never seen before, anyway..

      “What kind of monster is that?” She asked, looking to him and tilting her head, “It’s really scary--but I really like your drawing! We can start carving it right now if you want.”
