FLORESCENCE: Artist Applications

Florescence is an upcoming art book featuring the characters from Haikyuu!!, centered around the language of flowers. Our goal is to compile together a fan book that emulates botanical books and vintage field guides for plants.

Our artist applications are now open until August 14th!

The JSHK Flowers Zine is now officially opening our graphics/layout mod applications form! We hope to see you in our mod team! This zine will be a for-profit zine, so you will receive compensation at the end of the project. Apps will close on 30th June!

For clarification, here's some tasks that a Graphics/Layout Mod will be responsible for:

Making graphics for the contributors, such as contributor list and contributor spotlights

Making graphics for mod introductions

Making announcement graphics for the zine and social media blogs

Formatting the zine in an aesthetically pleasing and professional manner

Making graphics for the zine carrd

Here are the qualities we're looking for in your application:

Good sense of aesthetic and colour theory

Tasteful typography that fits the theme of the zine

Bonus: ability to make gifs!
