A Minecraft server of the world of Sornieth. Coming 2019 hopefully!

Oh my gosh this is so cool! I’m guessing the IP address will be released when the server map is complete? Cause if so I will eagerly await its finish!

It will probably be a couple months at least before we’re ready to let people in since not only do we plan on building the entire map, we intend for the server to have some fun extra features. It will NOT be a Survival server like the original Flight Crafting but it also won’t be Creative mode. Our ultimate goal is to create a kind of Flight Rising RPG-lite with the ability to build your clan’s lair in Sornieth itself.

whatre u guys going to fill the wymwound with? it should be lava mainly probably right? or maybe somehow mixed with swamp water for the green stuff? maybe? what update are you guys using 1.14 for the bamboo forests for the windswept plateau? im sorry, im just Obsessed with curiousity

We’re holding off on showing our Wyrmwound quite yet, but here’s a teaser of the pestilent soup to be found within! 

We’re building on 1.13.2 now, but we hope that we’ll be able to jump to 1.14 for release!

:0 are there any specific mods or texture packs to be joined in? Or just pure Minecraft ?

No mods! This is vanilla minecraft, but there will be a resource pack that the server will automatically prompt you to apply the first time you log in. We have a bunch of custom Flight Rising-themed textures made by @deer-rising ! There’s been a few Flight Rising-native foliage in the teaser images posted here so far, for example.

There’s a huge amount of work left for our tiny team on this project, but we have some big plans for our second go at Sornieth in Minecraft. We’re definitely only in pre-(pre-)alpha stage (there’s a lot of Sornieth still to build!!) but personally I’ve been dying to share what we have so far. Here’s a teeny tiny teaser image.

Flight Crafting Closing Notice

Flight Crafting will be shutting down on July 31, 2015 if the funds in the server coffer do not cover the server rental price for the next month.

If you’re interested in donating to keep the server running, (there is currently $0 in the coffer, and the rental price is $27.25), you can do so here. Otherwise the server will close as scheduled, July 31, 2015.
