  Laughter erupting at the mention of her uncle once more. Well.. whatever got the little idiot’s progress to stop. She seemed proud of herself, as any Robotnik would be. “ Or maybe you’re just to dumb to do it yourself, ” lashing back and glossing over the ‘kick eggman’s butt’ “ You can’t even get his name right. It’s Dr. Robotnik to you, you genetic mishap. ” 

  A brief pause of silence, before she seem perk right back with more things to say.

  “ Or maybe.. you’re telling me this because you want MY genius help, hm? ” A snicker following, devious and amused. “ The great Eggette Robotnik can surely figure out what has you stumped. ”

   geez, what was her damage? must’ve really stung to have your uncle’s plans be foiled every time. perhaps that was why tails felt so uncharacteristically confident, despite the insults. he’s boiled eggs before.

    shaking his head at the offer, he smiles. ❛ thanks, but    - i think i’m doing just fine on my own. ❜ tails shrugs. ❛ just need for you to take a vacation, or something. ❜ he’s surprised the doctor hasn’t gone bankrupt already, being down two death eggs can’t be good.

     did that eggrobo just    - talk? since when did the egghead program these badniks to chat? the thrill of the chase vanishes into puzzled interest. tails slows down, instead of propelling himself forward he transfers his momentum to his feet.
