1) mad men ( tv show. set in the 60s. similar to outlast, characters are more of an archetype to the era they lived in and function as a critic and commentary to the society of that time. all characters are asshole. literally murkoff lite. non-horror. )

2) rope ( 1948 ) ( a hitchcock thriller focusing on the subtext of homoeroticism. murder involved ofc. easterman variants. )

3) the servant ( 1963 ) ( a psychosexual power play between the master and the servant. once again, due to censorship of that time, the homoeroticism are hidden as subtext. intense. )
