Development Update: Coliseum

We wanted to provide a brief update on the progress of the Coliseum refactor. Please join us in this thread in Flight Rising Discussion.

The dragon clans have been busy as bees and it’s bee-ginning to show. Will your clan bee among those bee-decked with this new gene?

Bee: A New Secondary Gene Diaphanous wing membranes have begun appearing among the dragon clans. Bee is a new secondary gene that makes your dragon’s wings appear segmented and translucent. Bee is available now in the gem marketplace!

In the above preview, the secondary (wing) gene, Bee, is shown alongside its partner, the primary gene, Wasp. Wasp is not currently available, but will be releasing in November.

Starfall Celebration 2017

This month, all of dragonkind come together to celebrate the Starfall Celebration. This festival celebrates the arcane flight. Our most prized possessions, Magical Shards, can be found by using any gathering profession in the arcane territories this week. Neutral and arcane-aligned monsters also have a chance to rarely yield these items as drops in the Coliseum. They may be crafted at Baldwin’s Bubbling Brew using alchemy reagents.

Is this why I can’t load the site or log when it does load? I can’t remember how ahead of server time I am in my time zone. ;_; Is it happening now?

Yep, it's happening now! It may take another half hour or so to complete (until around 07:00 Server Time).

A good way to know if maintenance is over is to check the Site Status box on the home page - if that circle at the top of the box is green, you can log in again!

This newest update brings us two brand new Baldwin familiars and two brand new Swipp familiars!

In addition to these, the Bumble accent for female Tundras and the Coral Carpenter accent for male Skydancers have been added as crate drops to the Training Fields! These were originally added to the Fields back in April 2017, but the Coliseum was having trouble dropping them. They are now obtainable!

Just a little update after a short break: earlier today, Aequorin elaborated on the site’s policy regarding gifts and the volunteer moderators. The mods are limited as to what they can accept!
