Aubrey accidently ran into Kaoru in the hallway, making the other boy drop all his things. Upon hitting him, he accidently kissed him on the nose.

“Whoops~" He muttered before walking away, leaving Kaoru to wonder why him.

No, no, no. What did Aubrey think he was doing this wasn't acceptable. Kaoru followed quickly, latching, and jumping, quickly onto Aubrey's back.

Kaoru giggled in a small fit of giddiness. "I'm not drunk." He cooed, leaning even more heavily against his boyfriend. "I think you're drunk and that's why you're wobbling~" He giggle a little more as his face flushed a red.Turning his, he gave Aubrey a small kiss on the lips.

"Merry Christmas, sweetheart."

Aubrey smiled, a rather genuine smile. The kind you didn’t get often from him. “Damn right you won’t.” He replied. The gunman paused before going on. “Yeah. I’d like for you to do that as well.” Aubrey went on.

Kaoru hummed softly. Awkward, yet affection, he bumped Aubrey under his chin with his nose in a kind of light nuzzle. After a few seconds of this gesture he stepped away from Aubrey with a smile and a soft, stretching blush. Of course he still felt the worry, but he was happy. He chuckled softly and his his face behind his hands.

With no hesitation, Aubrey kissed Kaoru. A rather forceful kiss, yes meaningful. As soon as he pulled away he look the other in the eyes. “I love you too.” He said. The truth in the matter was he didn’t know if he was lying to Kaoru or not.

Of course Kaoru was shocked to be kissed. He wasn't expecting it in the slightest but easily fell into it. Delicate fingers came to place gently on Aubrey's shoulders, still trembling in a kind of fear. As their lips separated, Kaoru looked at the other and let his hands cup Aubrey's face and tuck bits of hair behind his ears. "I'm sorry... I won't something like that again so.. I'd like.. to take my place again..."

Aubrey took another deep breath in attempt to calm himself. He bit his lip and looked away as well. He honestly had no idea what to say. Thinking it through, he decided to actually speak. “Do you… Still love me?” He asked, looking at Kaoru.

Does he still love him? He already answered that question didn't he. "I love you.." Kaoru mutter softly to himself at firs; he felt hesitant to admit that once more. "I love you..!" Resolved to his word he said so louder, making eye contact.  His face remained flushed and though it was obvious he was shaking and afraid to say so, he stood solidly.

"Never deserved my kindness?!" Aubrey echoed in a harsh tone. He was outraged with this answer. That was no reason to break up with him, in his mind at least. "That’s fucking stupid as hell. There’s no reason you ‘didn’t deserve my kindness’. Stop being fucking stupid." He said, taking a deep breathe before going on. "You could have fucking addressed the issue instead of just breaking up with me, y’know that?"

Kaoru sunk back once more as he was scolded. He nodded slightly. "I know.. It was.. really stupid.. I panicked." Turning his eyes away and to the ground. This was really awkward. "I'm sorry... I just.. I just thought.. that mabe you'd enjoy yourself more.. be happier.... I don't know.. I'm really not that bright."

As soon as his response left his mouth Aubrey’s expression changed to confusion. There was a hint of angry, as always, but he was generally confused. Questions raced through his mind as he tried to figure out what to say.

"W-Well…" He paused. He didn’t even think out what he was going to say. Oh well, might as well go on. "It doesn’t make any fucking sense. Explain to me right now what you were trying to say." He demanded.

Kaoru felt his face flush slightly, explain what? That was all very blunt. He still loved him. That wasn't something that changed he said that. Was this a joke? No... Aubrey wasn't the kind to be able to fake that kind of confusion. Too much pride really. He took a deep breath.

"I'm dumb and I've been dumb forever and I'm terrible, but I love you." Those words quivered, that 'I love you'. Kaoru felt his own eyes well up slightly. "I wanted you to know that... And I'm sorry for everything.. I never deserved your kindness"

Oh boy did Kaoru have it in for him. A certain letter left at Aubrey’s doorstep left him many emotions— Most of them very bad for Kaoru. He was mostly in disbelief with this. This had to be the work of someone else, right? Right. Kaoru wouldn’t do that.

A certain very angry blonde approached Kaoru in the halls, clutching the letter in his hand. He waved it in front of Kaoru’s face aggressively. “You didn’t write this shit, did you?!” He practically yelled. It was extremely hard to tell what Aubrey was feeling from his tone. He proceeded to mutter things under his breathe, waiting for Kaoru’s answer. A range from ‘This has to be a prank’ to ‘I swear to god if you wrote this’.

Kaoru was already feeling very concerned due to the letter he had left.  The approach was already quite terrifying. Aubrey seemed mad. He really did mess up, huh? Aubrey might actually hurt him...

but that wouldn't be bad.

"I.. I did.." He shrunk away slightly, more worried about what words he would say. Kaoru was still fragile and having put his emotions out like that.. Truly terrifying.

Dear Aubrey,

Aubrey, It really has been awhile, hasn't it? You hate me now, yes? That isn't very much up for debate, but out of my own selfishness I must tell you something. I still care very much about you and I had even when I broke up with you. I was scared. Not of you or something foolish like that. I never felt like you would hurt me in any way. But But that was the issue. Someone like me didn't, and doesn't, deserve that kind of treatment. You didn't need to know this, but I needed to tell you....

I should just leave you be entirely, remove myself from you. That would be the kindest thing for me to do.. But, once more, I'll be selfish and come to you. I keep showing up trying to put things back together that have been torn apart. I'm sorry. If you told me now to leave you alone I would, but I had to try to... I don't know.

This is all getting repetitive isn't it? If I wasn't making myself obvious enough, what I mean to say is Aubrey....
