DIY Button Homage to Patrick Kelly. Tutorial from Mr. Peacock here. I just found this site and love it because if I had a blog, this is what I’d want it to be - but his last post was June 2010 :( So we get the DIY tutorial but we also get the inspiration behind it. Mr. Peacock gives a history lesson with photos and information about Mr. Kelly. He writes:

Patrick Kelly was a talented American fashion designer who passed away, in 1990, at the peak of his fame. He was the first American to be allowed into the elite Parisian fashion designer’s organization called Chambre Syndicale. His most memorable garments were embellished with masses of multicolored buttons.

You can also do monogrammed pillows which is shown in this tutorial.
