can’t say i can relate — cooking and baking are pretty far outside my wheelhouse. that being said, i think it’s been literal years since i’ve had freshly baked cookies, sooo yes?? please? even if they’re sent in the post to new york, a few seconds in the microwave will bring those puppies right back to life. wondering how you managed to miscalculate so severely, though… do you just zone out, do it on autopilot? that sounds like something i’d do, albeit not with cooking. 

Rami, you have hurt my wee little soul with your comments, but of course I will send you some cookies with your name on them. honestly, i got carried away making different shapes for each one and, like you said, autopilot must have taken over. at least it was an abundance of cookies and not something crazy...like...cats. Even though I can see myself having a crap ton of cats just wondering around my house when I’m a little old lady.

There is a reason Karen doesn’t do much of anything on her own. Because there is very little I can do without finding myself completely in harm’s way. TodayI decided to go rock climbing indoors for the third time in my life and well at one particular point I was twirling around with my head upside down mere inches but not close enough to the fake rocks. There is probably a million ways that could have gone wrong but I don’t live in the past. But I feel as though anyone takes a risk being my friend, the question is are you willing to take it for me? @prestigestarters​

I understand getting carried away. Baking around this season is actually fun when you have so many seasonal recipes at your fingertips. I found this recipe for dark chocolate pumpkin bread and it’s CRACK! The first time I made it 3 weeks back I made three loaves in a span of 3 days just for myself. Hey, i’m Chloe! October has been alright. The weather has been great in New York where it’s that nice cool weather that’s perfect for wearing your sweaters and just sitting out on your balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee. I don’t feel like i’m dying in the afternoons from a heat stroke when i’m running in the evenings. I will say though, the city is lacking Halloween decorations. 

My love, I am going to need some of that crack. Dark chocolate pumpkin bread sounds heavenly and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Yum. Hi, Chloe! It is so wonderful to meet you. New York weather is so beautiful this time of year. I’ve been on the west coast to long, I need to take a trip over there. I hate those awkward days where it is cold in the morning and in the afternoon you’re naked because you can’t stand the heat. That is so disappointing! Get it together, New York.

that reminds me that i have to start decorating for fall myself. i feel like i’ve been behind on pretty much everything this year. by the time i actually think to put up my decorations it’ll be time for fall to be over. as far as those cookies are concerned i’m a sucker for pumpkin sugar cookies, so please feel free to donate a couple to me. i’ll gladly sacrifice my diet for those. cool to meet you florence, i’m jon.

It is okay, this year is flying by way to fast. It still feels like summer which is why I had to force myself to decorate to get into the fall spirit. I will start getting a batch set aside with your name on it! Your diet will not mind, I’m sure. Hi, Jon! I am a big fan, it’s nice to meet you.

You could always just host a horror night and the extra sugar cookies you’ve made could be part of the snacks. Don’t hold me to it because I’ve never tasted your baking but I’m sure you’re fine and that the sugar cookies will be eaten fairly quick. Did you just get carried away or did you know what you were doing but couldn’t help yourself? Personally, you can never have enough sugar cookies so I’m kinda jealous.
