Valko not coming back isn't even the biggest issue. The fact that this happened AT ALL, along with the censorship and alterations is the issue. It means love and deepspace will never be made as originally intended. It means ideas will be discarded out of fear of angering people or the government.

It means art is dead guys. Love and deepspace is gonna hold back from now on.

Because if they can cancel Valko, what else are they gonna cancel?

Basically reiterating what i said on twitter, but this really shows that infold has no backbone. im so fucking glad i stopped giving this sorry excuse of a game my money. They really have zero trust in their own story and characters AND audience. I fear the quality is only going to get worse. They're going to pander to the cn side more and completely abandon the main story. We're not going to get good story updates, its all going to be shallow back to back sexy banners. They're gonna milk each LI for all they're worth before it finally crashes and burns 💀

Atp I dont even want them to add him back, I dont trust them with telling a good story or making a good experience for us.

I seriously don’t understand how or why companies like this should listen to hate comments if they know adding the character (THAT THEY HAD IN MIND SINCE DAY ONE WHILE CREATING THIS GAME) further the plot in the game??? Valko has purpose.

He had a good introduction! And all you wanna do is strip that away after all that hard work! What about the VA and the merchandise?!!

Honestly, the saddest part about this entire situation is that Valko was never even given the chance to enter the game.

At the very least, I believe Infold should have released the update first, observed players' reactions to his story, and seen how his banners performed before deciding to discard what was likely months— if not years— of creativity, planning, resources, and hard work poured into creating an entirely new love interest.

I can't help but feel heartbroken for everyone involved in bringing him to life: the designers, writers, artists, animators, va, and every member of the team who contributed to his creation.

Valko felt intriguing, unique, and genuinely refreshing. Even from the limited content we received, it was clear that a great deal of care had gone into writing and designing him.

Right now, I'm genuinely upset and disappointed by this decision. If it ends up being permanent, I honestly don't know how I'll feel about continuing to invest my time in the game.

For those of us who were excited to meet him, the least we can do is be the voice of a misunderstood wolf who never got the chance to howl beneath the moon (╥ ω ╥)
