I’m dead you guys XD

A staggering 20 hours of work was put into this (I don’t think I’ve done something this big in a while)

Tried learning how to color more realistic backgrounds (???)

Fun fact: I didn’t know this was a full spread page I only saw the cropped pic on twitter and decided to just roll with it haha (also i did not know that thing on Iruma’s waist was a carrot damn)

Overall, pretty happy at how this turned out and I can’t wait to see what other panel I’ll color if inspiration strikes again

Also since I’m talking already, just wanted to let you guys know that every reblog/comment you guys leave makes me really happy and it genuinely makes my day brighter, thank u all so much <33

This specific chapter hit me in the feels so much :((

Iruma is a cutiepie and I wish him all the best in this world

Is this a safe space to say I HATE have trouble with Iruma’s hair the most because since its all black in the manga and flat blue in the anime I have no idea how his hair is sectioned into strands

On the other hand his hair is always the prettiest to gradient

The tears are so yummy (the coloring guys, not that I’d drink his tears that’s weird)

Finally starting to lean into a more anime style of manga coloring

Redoing the line-art sucks takes a lot longer than actually coloring the panel

Evil Clara is so cute I love her so much

6 hours of work and tbh I’m pretty proud of it considering I haven’t colored in months now

I’ll be more active now though it’s finally summertime B))

I wanted to try animating the leaves a little bit!

Try to find the watermark

This was pretty hard ngl

First time ever doing window lighting and incorporating so many different colors for the light

20 hours of pure agony amd torture

But hey if anyone noticed i finally found a way to sharpen the panel

Wasted 3 hours manually erasing the screen tones only to be taught by Sasha (SAVIOR, MY MIRACLE) there was a quicker way to do it

Overall I'm happy with how it turned out but I've gained new shading trauma

So overall, i like how it turned out tho i believe I could have done better

Wanted to go for a horror-ish, kinda eerie style but I've never done this before so i think I'll have to improve on that

Finally have some semblance of how light and shadows work

10 hours but i believe it was worth it

So random question but is Beem a he or a she? So far in the manga they've always used "they/them" so I was just curious!

They actually wear both the girls and boys uniform (girl top, male pants) like Opera.

So probably nonbinary or genderfluid. It's up to the reader on purpose (like Opera)

I see, thank you! I was just confused because I saw someone use "he" for Beem- not that I mind- but i didn't actually notice they were wearing an outfit similar to Opera so thats pretty cool!
