“I see. That’s why him and Kanae get along so well. I guess he has always been very friendly.” He finishes his tea and begins to clean up. “A few of my fellow Hashira and some of the younger slayers have noticed her trackers. I’m hoping that we will be able to deal with both her and Muzan before they’d ever find Nezuko.” He hesitates before looking at him. “Would you like anything to drink Karl? I don’t have much for demons though.”
Sanemi grits his teeth and rolls his eyes. “Smartass.” He folds his arms. “Why do you care so much? You’re just a raccoon.” His eyes widen. “You’re connected to that damn demon aren’t you?! I’m not talking to some demon pet.” He walks around her. He was even more irritated and embarrassed now.”
Kanae waits patiently with him. She could tell that there was something else he wanted to tell her so she wouldn’t leave yet.
"Rui is most certainly one of the most friendly demon's the kizuki has ever seen....I suspect it is due to him being a child with an obsession for belonging to a family...." *Kokushibo muses aloud. He knew the boy well enough though not even he knew everything that Muzan knew. He nods at the mention of the other slayers finding her trackers, he was not surprised; Nakime's minions were fairly easy to spot once you knew what to look for and kept her somewhat stationary though they were faster and more resilient than Rui's spiders.* "She received the same message as the rest of us and has decided to feed That Man false information while keeping an eye on him for us.....I suspect she is one of the most upset by his betrayal...." *He explains. Having been one of those in-charge of managing the other moons along side him, Kokushibo was more familiar with Nakime than most others and knew that this would not be the first time she had been betrayed by someone she had come to trust. He looks up curiously* "I appreciate the offer and though I would like to accept due to other information that has been disclosed about a recent discovery, I do not have the means to do so at the moment"
*Sugar scurries around him and stands infront of him again stamping one of her tiny feet on the ground and signs for Goto (as i finally re-read the pages with him) to translate.* "She says 'whether I am or not is not the point, I care because it doesn't take a genius to see that you two love each-other and are to proud to see it' " *Goto stutters out trying to collect Sugar before Sanemi gets REALLY mad.*
*Spice purrs softly glad to be aloud to comfort you*
“Yes he seems rather kind. Tanjiro and his friends have grown fond of him and I think he’s nice but he’s still very much afraid of me. I understand why but I thought that I had been nicer to him since the incident.” Giyuu didn’t realize that he actually was quite terrifying during a battle and his normal resting face wasn’t that much nicer either. He was extremely hard to read and yet he thought he wore emotions on his shoulder. “I see. I don’t believe many of us Hashira as well as our master will want to work with some of the Kizuki. Especially upper two and three. They have hurt a few of my comrades and we can’t accept that kind of malice.” He comes to sit back down with him. “Oh do you mean the blood in the food? I overheard Shinobu speaking about it but I wasn’t quite sure if it was real. I guess it is.”
Sanemi looks down at her even more annoyed now. This stupid rodent wouldn’t go away and he was ready to kick it. “What are you talking about?! Kanae and I are just friends.” His face was full of anger but the pink hue on his cheeks and ears couldn’t be hidden. He knew what he said was a lie but he couldn’t just say it out loud. He hadn’t even confessed Kanae yet let alone some random raccoon and a kakushi. “Why do you care so much? It’s not hurting you?”
"You probably have been from what I know of you, it isn't as much of a you problem as it is a him problem....He has always been oddly hesitant to trust adults with his safety for some reason....It took a lot of convincing over a period of months from Daki, the second youngest among us; that most of us were not going to go out of our way to try to harm him in some way....and Gyokko did not help his anxieties much." *Kokushibo explains with a light chuckle; not at all surprised that the boy was being rather skittish especially since much like himself Giyuu was rather difficult to get a reading on for most people since his face tended to not convey very much. Rui had not been one to talk about himself very much so he knew little about the boy outside of what he had observed for himself. Though on the topic of the demon slayers being hesitant to trust his fellow Kizuki he could understand that much, especially when it came to upper two* "I can understand that being their reaction especially in regard to those two, but do you think they would be willing to hear them out if they apologized as well?" *Kokushibo wondered aloud, recalling hearing Akaza quietly complaining about how Muzan kept temporarily taking physical control of his body and forcing him to kill fighters he was actually on par with.* "It does, evidently Rui has been using himself as a lab-rat to test it out"
*Goto finally scoops Sugar up and starts to carry her away before translating one last signed sentence from her* "Apparently she says, 'I care because it is painful to watch you stumble around your obvious feelings like a deer with a bucket stuck on its head' " *He then bows deeply, nearly looses his mask and scurries away with Sugar who he then puts beside you and Spice. He didn't disagree with the raccoon oddly enough but she was far too blunt for his liking. Sugar curled up to Spice who rested his chin on her head* "Apparently Sugar had a lot to say to him miss Kanae"
“Ah yes. The demon in the vase. My friend Muichiro had a battle with him.” He could understand why the young demon would be more than a little on edge around the other Kizuki. Most of them were rather loud with the exception of Karl but he was scary in a different way. “I don’t know if Kanae will be able to forgive upper 2 same goes to Sanemi and Shinobu but Kyojuro might be able to forgive upper 3. I heard that they had a good battle before the sun came up.” He thought about it on his own end. If he were in a battle like that would he be able to forgive Karl. He wasn’t sure. He can’t even forgive himself let alone a demon. . . He couldn’t speak for his friends. He barely knew that if he was being honest. “I see. I’ll have to ask Kanae how it’s going.”
Sanemi was upset and embarrassed for being called out so badly by a RACCOON. How the hell does eh recover from that. He stands there in shock for a few minutes before walking away. He needed to snap out of it. He wasn’t taking relationship advice from a raccoon. . . Right? Maybe she was a little right and maybe he did need help with Kanae but he’d never admit that.
Kanae smiles softly and pets both of the raccoons. “Thank you Gotto I really appreciate it. I don’t know what you did Sugar but I hope that Sanemi wasn’t too mean to you. I know he can be pretty brash.”
"Muichiro? He is the youngest of you all correct?" *Kokushibo asks curiously. He understood that well though much the same could be said of the Hashira according to his own observations with "Gary" being the exception.* "I am glad he is alright after their encounter....Gyokko is a rather...unsettling man...quite mad you know?...Though thankfully he is not so foolish as to snitch with the rest of us moons switching sides..." *Kokushibo mentioned before listening to your thoughts on his previous question.* "I can understand that...From my recollection of them the Rengoku families son's have always been good sports even when they lose....As for Douma I would not be surprised nor do I think he would be either...However I plan to keep them all on a short leash if that brings you any comfort." *Kokushibo recalled the feeling, though it was muted; being hesitant to trust and forgive demons regardless of any allegedly good intentions was something he understood well he had felt it too when he was human and it still leaked through even now that he was one.* "That would be a good idea...May I accompany you when you do? I would like to check in on Rui to make sure he is doing well..." *He asked though now he remembered something he had meant to ask about earlier* "Ah now that I think of it, Did you remember to visit your friend who is in the Kocho sisters' care?" *Kokushibo asked, recalling that during his last visit "Gary" mentioned he was intending on visiting a certain peach-haired friend of his*
"Luckily I carried her away before either he or she got too upset." *Goto remarked, watching as you pet the raccoons before glancing into the room where Rui lay* "From my understanding, You picking the demon child in there over him lately isn't the only thing bothering him, what else is I cannot say." *Sugar and Spice nuzzle each-other affectionately before both lean into your hand. Goto re-adjusts his mask to cover everything under his eyes* "Does anyone need anything brought to their bedside?"
“Yes. He is the youngest Hashira.” He nods thinking back to what little muichiro remembered and some of what Tanjiro told him. “From what I gathered he doesn’t seem to be particularly affected by your demon comrade but then again muichiro isn’t affected by much.” He knew he could trust Karl there was just something about him that he felt secure in. He knew he meant what he said but that doesn’t mean that the other Kizuki won’t act out when he’s not watching. “I trust you Karl. I know you won’t l let them be harmed but I’d prefer if at least upper 2 stayed away for longer than the rest.” He was particularly worried about Shinobu. He knew she wouldn’t just let him waltz in like nothing happened. She still very much wanted to kill him. He stops his rambling thoughts and think. “Do you mean Mitsuri? Yes she’s doing well. A few of my fellow Hashira are trying to get her together with another Hashira. They seem to be in love.”
She bows. “Thank you Goto I really appreciate that.” She smiles softly on the little couple and shakes her head. “No everyone is good for now. Thank you for all your help. You can go take a break and get some food.”
